BLEED add lauNX on loan*

The rifler joins on loan from Falcons for 2024, with a first option for BLEED to buy after the Shanghai Major.

lauNX was benched by Falcons in November

BLEED have signed Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea from Falcons, the Singaporean organization has announced.

The 18-year-old rifler has been benched since November 5, shortly after the arrival of Danny "zonic" Sørensen kick-started a run at tier one for the Falcons organization. Before then, lauNX is best known for his role in Sprout's underdog run to the IEM Rio Major in 2022.

BLEED announce hampus signing

The Romanian's arrival brings the new lineup to four, after the earlier signings of Hampus "hampus" Poser, Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, and Josef "faveN" Baumann.

Coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović confirmed on Twitter that they had approached Max "maxster" Jansson to complete the linup, but the deal was complicated after PGL could not confirm that maxster, Ninjas in Pyjamas' registered substitute, would be allowed to appear for BLEED in the upcoming Major cycle. An approach for Justin "jks" Savage was also unsuccessful, kassad confirmed.

Their alternative fifth player should be announced soon, with the European open qualifiers for PGL Major Copenhagen set to begin on January 8.

Update 16:34 : Coach kassad has tweeted to confirm that lauNX's signing is initially on loan, though BLEED will have first option to buy him out on a pre-agreed price after the Shanghai Major, should lauNX agree.

BLEED are now:

Sweden Hampus "hampus" Poser
Bulgaria Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
Germany Josef "faveN" Baumann
Romania Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea

Serbia Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović (coach)

It started underwhelming with hampus, he's never had success IGL'ing. Now he's gotta lead a grab-bag of budget benched players? Still underwhelming.

its just a loan "lauNX's signing is initially on loan, though BLEED will have first option to buy him out on a pre-agreed price after the Shanghai Major." this is how it should be for new talents to see if they can prove himself. If orgs are so afraid to give new talents chances , at least get loans and see how he does in the team for some tourneys...

this roster is full of people with missed chances... this team CAN be good but there's so much questionmarks surrounding this roster that i dont think they will be serious competition in the near future - like hampus is a decent IGL but not a super mastermind - faven has a super high skill ceiling but can his team rely on him this time? - cerq was great in the past but his last months in EG he was playing ass, can he recover in a less shitty org? - launx and also cypher (if they really pick him) have been good in the past as well but no are no real star players either

Tbh every roster built from scratch that isn't filled with star-players is going to be full of question marks, hell, even star-studded C9 with Hobbit, Sh1ro, Elec, Perfecto and Ax1le turned out to be a roster with a lot of question marks, even though HLTV praised the initial roster so much, saying they're going to be insta top3 etc I think all these players have a common trait: They're all SUPER hungry to prove they have what it takes to be at the top. I expect good things from this roster tbh, even though I agree that it is quite a risk. But, as I said, every roster is a risk. Only time can tell how will it work out :)

Well who says they can't change players. I think the org stated (or kassad stated) they don't aim for this major, but the next one. They've built something from scratch, now they have time to see who plays well and who doesn't.

kassad said it in an interview or podcast. Looks like they first want to build a structure for the org in CS since BLEED is new to the space - and they don't need a multi-million superteam for that. Once the org has systems built, they will make changes if necessary. Personally, I think they will be necessary - at minimum, I don't believe cerq has it in him to make a comeback to his top form.

First things first. Kassad stated that he (and BLEED as well) don't want to overpay players. This organization is not C9 - henryg iteration, C9 - current iteration, or Falcons to throw money left and right and see who wants to grab some of it. They have a solid budget, but it will be spent reasonably. Now to your points: - who, in your opinion, is a super mastermind IGL that would sign a contract for a reasonable price, is currently available (no team), or has a small buyout fee? It would be good if you named two, I really curious how many super mastermind IGLs in top 20 teams, maybe only 5, maybe 10, maybe 15? Tell me how many? - who, in your opinion, is a player that a team can rely on and would sign a contract for a reasonable price, is currently available (no team), or has a small buyout fee? It would be good if you named two, And from those two, if you think teams can relay on them, then why they do not have a team right now or a high buyout? - I don’t know if cerq can be good again, but that a risk kassad is willing to take (and this is his job), but whom you would chose instead of him? - who, in your opinion, is a real star player and would sign a contract for a reasonable price, is currently available (no team), or has a small buyout fee? It would be good if you named two, How many "real star players" that are looking for a team are there? If creating a tier 2 team with hopes for more in few months would be so easy and "star players" only wait for someone to giving them contract, teams would pop up like mushrooms, but it is not. It is only easy to spent someone else money.

you make it seem like you feel personally attacked. it was not my intention to trash this roster, i just stated my opinion on them. dont get me wrong, they picked some interesting players, i just think they're missing a "safe" pick or a young prodigy in the mix. first things first, they clearly missed the roster shuffle at the end of the season or planned to create a team of leftovers from the get go. i will make suggestions that include players that already found a team in the shuffle. now to answer your questions. - interesting picks for the IGL role would in my opinion be gla1ve or kyxan. hampus has been an alright pick as well but i wouldve preferred gla1ve if i have to deal with so much questionmarks. - when i spoke about faven being unreliable, i was referencing him missing from almost every important event when he played for BIG. they played with a stand in most of the time. faven is the safest bet in this team if they dont need to replace him regularly. i'm happy with that pick. - instead of cerq they could probably look towards the CIS scene, sure there might be a language barrier but degster, artfrost wouldve been interesting picks. but even the rumored smooya move wouldve been more interesting than cerq IMO - a star player with all your criteria isnt available to my knowledge, you're of course right with that. i feel like nowadays THIS might be where you have to take a gamble and sign a young promising player from a t2/t3 or academy team

First things first, again :) I did not feel personally attacked. It just, to me, your comment sounded judgmental: "I would do it differently.", "There are better players than those that BLEED chose.", and no specific explanation of what you would do differently. It would be so much better if you mentioned your propositions just right a way. With doing that, you would show another perspective. After all, we do not know what the current situation is on the CS2 market. When kassad looked for players, gla1ve probably already signed, or at least was in serious talks with ENCE and smooya… Well at this point, he is a risk that unfortunately no team is ready to take, no matter how good he plays in the scrims/faceits (I hope he will get one more f*** chance). And if not those two that have history in the top 10 teams, then the list of alternatives is getting shorter and shorter without any “better for sure” options. And that is what I wanted to point out. It is easy to criticize, but when getting to the details, it is not that easy at all. One last thing: do you really think that kassad would not talk with some of those “better/star” players to try to talk them into trying to do history with BLEED. He has connections; he has knowledge. History shows that he also makes mistakes, but for God sake, he is not stupid. He is not stupid at all.

It is not wasting money. It is called starting somewhere. Do you really think that there are plenty orgs that are willing to throw money like Falcons are doing? We need as many reasonable organization like ENCE, Mouz, BIG, Sprit, maybe Monte, Apeks as well, as possible. They will show us that new, and sometimes old talent that still has something in them, and after some time rise that talent to be great or great again. And that, I hope, BLEED will be in the near future. And if they successed this will be good for everyone. They have to stay afloat as long as they can and not end up like henryg's C9. I really can't belive that you dont see how stupid this "If you can't build a team worth a damn, just don't do it" statment is. What is your definition of "worth a damn"? Top 10? Top 20? FORZE is 30th now, NiP is 25th, Astralis 19th. Are they "worth a dam" or should thay disband because there is no point in having team as bad in Japcsali opinion?

It is wasting money, the world doesn't need a yet another CCT first round loser team. It wastes money because instead of entering at the right time, with players worth a damn, they will get disillusioned now and leave the CS scene. This is much more damaging. This won't be nearly on the level of the orgs you mentioned. I can't believe you think that statement is stupid lmaooooo yeah, compare a newcomer team to those established ones, and you call others stupid

You are right, I should not use “stupid”. “Delusional” probably is also too strong. “Naive” fits the best. Was there at any time a CS team that was created from scratch that was “worth a damn” in your opinion? HenryG tried to do it. He was not even that far in my opinion, but it did not work at the end and lasted only few months. And he overpaid, overpaid a lot. Current squad of C9 maybe it was not so expensive, but cost more then current BLEED for sure, so still it wasn’t cheap. And for now there is no as much of success there, so it might be that C9 management thinks about it as wasting money (they switch their opinion about players fast). Falcons did what they could to get the “stars” players, but you have to have oil money to do it that way. And so, in my opinion, it is near impossible to create a “worth damn” team from scratch without FU money. “Worth a damn” teams are made brick by brick, step by step, by “all-in” moves for 1-2 players, not for whole team. You have to have a plan and money for 2 year in advance and stick to it (the plan, not always to the players you started with), if you want to build something more or less stable. Now going into the “right time”. How can you tell that it is not now? We had a quite unstable CS:GO year. There was no 1-2 teams that dominated, rather all teams had some down results here and there. Falcons with trying to get all the best players are messing up the atmosphere in G2, taking what they can from Vitality (making it weaker) and destroying ENCE. s1mple is taking a break. US team in rebuilding faze. Faze soon to be none existent with all that ownership and conflict of interests drama. And on all of this you have new game of CS2 in which not all players (stars or not) are comfortable yet. Hell, there was no better time to create new team than now. Especially on decent, but limited budget. And to your final point. Exactly this is a newcomer team and with such teams, you can not wish them fast success (because players will be bought out) and you can not wish them complete failure because they will disband. You have to have hopes for mediocre success which it seems in you opinion is not “worth a damn”, on which they can build on and that is exactly what kassad is trying to do here.

Solid roster. Cerq deserves a second chance, so does Launx and Faven. They all have been promising and then they found themselves in rosters that didn't quite fit them. Let's see what they can do together now. Who will be the 5th though? I heard rumours about Cypher. If that's the case, then what can I say besides GLHF - seems like this roster can and will do some damage.

kassad really wanted to challenge himself with this roster lol. An igl that underwent the NIP abuse until he had to take a mental health break, an AWPer who underwent the same treatment but in EG until he lost all motivation to play, a guy that was on sick leaves half of his career, and a young prodigy with yet again motivation issues and tilt problems. We getting out of the mental asylum with this one

Don't compare Fnatic to this crap pls. Fnatic took 2 young players and one experienced one (3 players on the rise) and gave them a bump to tier 1. BLEED took a couple of players who are on the worst form of their careers. It feels like one of those EU mixes you'd see on HLTV threads

Kassad its a L from the start of any rosters Hampus can be good or also full trash Faven always sick, inconsistent sometimes Cerq is washed like 5y Launx had his moments but sometimes its cold as ice his hands wont work It dosent matter whos 5th this roster is garbage Not even 1 star player consistent At this point TSM, Falcons, GamerLegion or this roster are flip flops. Can be top10 or completely tier4 garbage.

Launx is good, NBK didn’t know how to use his skills and it caused him to look bad. I watched him when he was on sprout so I hope he can show some of the form he had back then on BLEED.

I know it's a loan, but talents should never sign for an unproven lineup like this. it's just a waste of time, but that was also already expected when kassad got involved here. Cant wait for him to get kicked and NEVER return to cs.
