Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's IKLA are the last team from the second EU RMR open qualifier to book a spot in the closed stage, joining HEROIC, SINNERS, and PERA among the list of teams to advance.

The European mixture fell to BLEED in the Round of 16 of the first open qualifier, but found success in their second effort with a reverse-sweep over Space after punishing the Russian team's mistakes.

PERA are the penultimate team from the second open bracket to secure a spot in the EU RMR closed qualifier, securing relatively one-sided wins over Anonymo on Mirage (13-6) and Ancient (3-5) on either side of a narrow Nuke loss (10-13).

The Hungarian side notably took down FTW and Permitta in the rounds that preceded their qualification match, and will now play SINNERS in a best-of-one to determine seeding.

Overpass will be a map to forget for Space after they threw away multiple man advantages, including a 2v5 in the final round of the game and this 1v5 to Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol.

TSM and GODSENT became the final notable victims on day one of the second open qualifier bracket, falling to HAVU and IKLA, respectively.

SINNERS, Endpoint, 00NATION, and Space all advanced to the Ro16 stage, with the latter team continuing their strong form after a Ro512 win over BLEED at the start of the day.

Day two of the qualifier will resume at 16:00 with eight best-of-one matches, with the winners of each then playing a best-of-three to determine the four teams who will advance to the closed stage. The current bracket can be found on the HLTV event page.

Maybe, maybe not. Stating is as a fact says more about you then it says about them. That you jump easily to conclusions and those conclusions shouldn't be trusted, as you base them off a very small data pool and a large pile of speculation.

Teses boosted Hunden before a match. niko knew after the fact but was allegedly manipulated by Hunden into lying that all 5 knew (now it appears he forgave Hunden for it). Thus maintaining plausible deniability for the other 4. If you are gullible you will take the story Heroic presented, that Hunden is only one guilty and lied to tarnish reputation of others, despite credible evidence otherwise

Yeah, let's burn them at the stake instead. "credible evidence" You must be referring to something important not yet mentioned? It'´s kind of irrelevant to use undefined claims, AKA placeholders. Do you also believe the Heroic management story vs Stabbi's story, despite Heroic management offered no possibilities to fact-check their statement, while Stabbi offered all players and coaches as ways to fact-check their claims. I know some stuff is easier to imagine than others. But that doesn't mean that you should use your imagination as anything related to evidence. Being judgemental is an emotional commitment to ignorance.

"You must be referring to something important not yet mentioned?" Text messages and recording were credible but they would be explained by "poor niko has autism and ADHD :(, Hunden manipulated him into lying about the situation" ADHD isn't even relevant in this situation yet ESIC felt they had to mention it. Also lol at your attempt to change subject. If Heroic org is dishonest then shouldn't that extend to cheating situation? Why did they not fire Hunden after he was banned? Yeah, Heroic lied about cadiaN situation but stabbi said they had no prior agreement or communications with Astralis. Then how did Heroic know they were going to sign with Astralis before hand?

You derailed the the subject by using the term "credible evidence." When asked to expand on it you refer vaguely to some text messaging, without expanding on the content hereof. You narrowed down your a bit, but it's still just a placeholder, Your personal subjective judgemental attitude I have no interest in at all, I don't care. I asked for evidence, not for your personal subjective conclusion on the matter which somehow soothes your entire post, providing lot's of subjective emotional content, and almost no objective facts. Facts is all I asked for, and just about the only thing you didn't provide.

"One final assertion made by ESIC indicates that three of the players may have found out that the bug had been used following the team's match against Astralis as there is evidence of a post-game TeamSpeak conversation between cadiaN, niko, stavn, and HUNDEN, where niko states that HUNDEN had revealed to him in a message that he was in the bug. Despite remaining skeptical due to the loss, an unfamiliarity with niko regarding serious situations of this manner, and there being no obvious instances pointing to HUNDEN's use of the bug, cadiaN and stavn made "a clear stand against cheating." However, the situation was never escalated to Heroic, allowing the situation to be easily glossed over — something which ESIC condemns the players for. Commissioner Ian Smith found this specific instance to not be enough to sustain charges in complicity towards any of the other players though, outside of niko's admission of guilt." So they knew about the bug at least after the match was finished yet Hunden went on to use it again few days later but tHeY dIdN't KnOw

They don't need to go trough open qualifiers. "The teams currently invited to either RMR A or RMR B are Team Vitality, GamerLegion, Apeks, FaZe Clan, Monte, Into The Breach, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Falcons, Bad News Eagles, G2 Esports, and ENCE; they will be later distributed using the Regional Standings." I just have no clue when those said teams will play since half of both groups are already filled and rest is filled with open qualified.

It more about Valve rules, I’m sure player who is contracted to another org can’t compete for another team in same circuit since in case boomer demons would qualify further and got matched against Faze. Olof would be in conflict of interest.

I was asking and looking for same since he is on Faze for more than 6 years now and found nothing, but looks like that he got new contract as content creator not as pro CS player, but it still counts as being part of Faze and breaks Valve’s rule.

all it is is Valve ranking to a certain point (not sure where) and then below that it's unseeded which I get is frustrating but also what can you do when half the teams have never played a map together? you can't seed a team based off vibes

If a team is unseeded due to its core being new, they should've at least based it on the players. BLEED and Heroic are essentially new teams, but we know for a fact they're not just some random team with unknown players. So them facing Space and EYEBALLERS respectively in 1st/2nd round should've never happened. Then you see totally unknown teams reaching at least up to the 4th round before facing a somewhat known team. Super crazy..

It would have been good for the teams who made say top 32 last time to get some kind of seeding

Where will you get players ranking? No one is going to manually seed 1000 teams.

I don't know how manually you're thinking mate, but the way I think how it's gonna happen is very simple. Just make sure more known teams or teams w/ known players (meaning w/ HLTV-recorded matches) are farthest apart from each other. Upon registration, they should already be able to categorize the team as "known" or "unknown." Let's say there are 128 "known" teams (made it exactly 128 to make it easier to understand) that register, then just place them 7 matchups apart, meaning there should only be 1 "known" team every 8th matchup in Ro1024. Then just scatter all the unknown teams randomly. This will ensure the earliest possible round these "known" teams will meet is at Ro128. This is far better than them destroying each other as early as Ro1024 and/or Ro512.

Definition of known players will be challenged straight away. For example O Plano team will be the most known but in reality they mix of washed players. I understand desire to improve seeding but with introduction of Valve's ranking and closed qualifiers if your team has to go through open qualifier, then you are not better than random mix. Big orgs know the rules when they lose core. Name value teams have to prove with their performance that they are capable. So far a lot of upsets in EU qualifier were by random mixes.

+1 There's no reliable way to seed a team based on "vibes". If they are not present in the Valve ranking, they shouldn't be treated in a special way just because they have some big names, simple as

Makes sense mate! But while the HLTV-recorded matches don't explicitly prove they're stronger, it at least proves T1/T2 experience. It's at least based off of something instead of total randomness. Also, while it's true O Plano and even the ex-NiP mix are already washed, I'd still rather prefer they drop out of the bracket at 1st/2nd round by an unknown team instead of a known team/mix. If O Plano/ex-NiP gets destroyed in 1st/2nd round by an unknown team, then that unknown team prove itself worthy early in the brackets. And if O Plano/ex-NiP destroys these unknown teams before reaching another known team/mix in a later round, then we know they still got it. Maybe it's just me, but I think that sounds better for me compared to O Plano getting destroyed by Legacy or ex-NiP getting destroyed by KOI in 1st/2nd round. Because when that happens, I (and maybe other people) will wonder how far they could've gotten if only they weren't lined up early with obvious favorites. Anyhow, am just saying how I think it should be done if it were to be seeded. But like you said, it's open qualis and these teams know it, so yeah, let RNG decide then!

I understand your point. There is an element of luck. However there are 4 chances and majority of big name teams usually make it through open qualifier. In RO128 or RO64 there is good chance you will meet top 50/top 100 team anyway. I believe effort to save some teams for few rounds is not worth it especially since they have 4 chances. I also love major qualifiers as the only reality check for closed circuit teams.

Righto, I was fine with that in the first one but these teams made it really far in that so they could easily be seeded properly.

"After reviews we have banned team supresse out of competition," Challengermode said a statement. "Following how we recieved reports about them, we will replay bracket from RO64, means that Lazer Cats vs. Alliance will play against each others and winner of that will face BETERA in RO32." haha this is pure sh*t tbh :D

But why did they ban them? Just cause of the reports? I can't seem to find any relevant reason why they were banned.

Congratulations to IKLA! They managed to secure the final closed qualifier spot in the second EU RMR open bracket, proving their resilience after falling to BLEED in the first qualifier. Their reverse-sweep victory over Space demonstrates their ability to learn and adapt, which is crucial for success in high-pressure tournaments.
