The Danish organization are open to new ownership to "take Preasy to new heights."

Preasy signed dupreeh ahead of the RMR closed qualifiers

Preasy has been put up for sale "to the right individual or entity," as the Frederiksberg-based organization looks for funding ahead of their tilt at a home Major in Copenhagen.

The decision has been made from a position of strength, after Preasy rose to No. 32 in the world rankings and earned an invite to the closed qualifiers for the aforementioned Major. The team also sport an academy roster, Preasy Rising, skippered by Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen as coach.

Preasy go AWPer-less with dupreeh signing

Preasy are currently owned by Michael Hertz, who founded the esports side of the organization in April 2023 under the same name as his electricity subscription company Preasy. Both sections of the Preasy organization have the backing of Hertz's electricity and telecommunications company Energive Danmark.

Hertz added in a statement: "With a mix of joy and contemplation, I announce my decision to sell our beloved sports club. This decision has grown out of the remarkable development where Preasy Esport has evolved into more than just a side venture."

Former Copenhagen Flames owner Steffen Thomsen joined as CEO in June 2023, and has overseen the building of a new roster around more former Flames staff in the form of Daniel "⁠Vorborg⁠" Vorborg, Thomas "⁠TMB⁠" Bundsbæk, Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali, Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi — who has since departed for HEROIC —, and Fredrik "⁠roeJ⁠" Jørgensen.

The buyer should very much hope the team makes it through to the major AND gets stickers, meaning they have to get through the RMR AND 1st stage in major to get their money back. They don't have large odds of doing that very thing. **Incorrect, editing that all 24 teams that qualified to the major get stickers, overall point stands, getting through the RMR won't be easy for this roster

I swear there was some year that caused controversy because not all teams got their stickers just for getting to the major, and that's what I remember. I own stickers from all teams that made it to the Paris Major, idk why that thought just flew by my head

I just googled their name. Their logo is highly similar to that of Preasy itself, an electrical power supplier. But their raw company logo clearly looks better. Anyway, that logo will change at ownership change. It's a bad name as well, probably made at 3am a Saturday night when someone was completely wasted out of their mind.
