Cloud9, NAVI, more through to EU RMRs; Aurora, SINNERS among teams eliminated

Four teams have punched their tickets to Bucharest with a perfect 3-0 record in the closed qualifiers.

Cloud9 were far too strong for BetBoom

Day two of the closed qualifiers for the European RMRs has come to an end, with four teams securing berths in Bucharest. Meanwhile, only 24 teams remain in contention after the first elimination round.

Cloud9 were the first team to seal qualification for the RMRs following a quick 2-0 victory over Russian rival BetBoom. Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov’s troops dropped only eight rounds throughout the match, with four players posting 1.50+ series ratings.

Natus Vincere also required only two maps to beat Virtus.pro, but it was from an easy afternoon for the international team, who had to come back from 1-9 and 1-8 deficits on Overpass and Anubis and won both maps in overtime. After the match, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen said that it was “one of the most intense” CS2 matches he has played, even though it was an online affair, with Mihai "iM" Ivan backing that sentiment.

The other two advancement series ended in upsets. A stellar performance from Benjamin "blameF" Bremer (1.37 rating and +28 K-D) was not enough as Astralis fell to AMKAL, the Russian team that features the ex-1win core. And world No.3 MOUZ, the highest-ranked team in the qualifiers, were defeated by Eternal Fire (No.14) in a close three-map affair.

On the lower end of the Swiss stage, all four elimination series were settled after two maps. Aurora were the first top 30 team to crash out of the qualifiers following a defeat to FORZE in a Russian derby, but more surprising still was SINNERS' elimination against Nexus, who are ranked only 181st in the world.

Swedish side EYEBALLERS also lost to a lower-ranked opponent in Entropiq, prompting an apology tweet from veteran Jesper "JW" Wecksell, while Permitta was the only team that did not suffer an upset, dispatching JANO in quick fashion.

The team list for the European RMRs currently looks as follows:

No need to soyout lil bro , he was pretty well known in the NA scene during that era and played multiple international lans . You just decides to google search "CS:GO Major Championships player database" on liquidpedia without even taking into account who that person is 🤣 So much for a cs oldhead 😭

New account means you are either new kid or you have new account every 12 month because you are baiter or you just can’t behave in civilized way or some other silly stuff. Either way your opinion is questionable at best and should be taken with grain of salt.

"you are baiter or you just can’t behave in civilize" Your profile is public lil bro no need to self project here plus Vitality clears Faze anytime of the day

Yes Vitality are better than Faze atm so what? This has nothing to do with that fact…. It’s like saying I am right because my dad is taller than your dad lmao. You really have to be under legal age. As I said new kid / baiter / someone who is getting new account every couple of months because of uncivilized behaviour. Just check your comment history, I am literally rent free in your head past few days.

Awww "uncivilized behaviour" boohoo uncivilized behaviour in a public forum, going to cry about it ? 😭😭 Moreover again , your comments are public , you can self project your insecurities all you want lil bro. "I am literally rent free in your head past few days." sorry I don't remember people I replied to, you remembering me replying to your comments for the past few days means that i'm living in your head rent free 😭

That’s it? Nothing about dumbass comparison of Faze and Vitality which has nothing to do with you having new account? Instead another childish comment “going to cry about it” you are definitely max 15yo. Rent free? Ye that’s why I am taking hours/days to reply to your nonsense comments or I don’t reply at all, while you clearly sit staring at the bell waiting for red notification to keyboard warrior me, nothing better to do? I tend to check users who reply to me with nonsense so I don’t waste my time with them just like this…. as I said rent free in your head. Cya

I like the title: "CLOUD9, NAVI, MORE" - implying that the Turks and Amkla or whatever the name is have little relevance.
