Trouble makers qualify for Asia RMR

The Kyrgyzstani team are the sixth to secure their berth to the Major qualifier.

Trouble makers have earned a spot at the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia RMR after topping the Asia closed qualifier, where they completed a sweep through the lower bracket to earn the sole spot on offer at the LAN event.

TheMongolz, ATOX secure Asia RMR spots

The Kyrgyzstani team features no familiar names at an international level and last made an appearance on HLTV in a failed BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR open qualifier effort.

Just Samat "⁠aRon⁠" Satybaldiev and Altair "⁠imyGDx⁠" Idam remain from that iteration of the Trouble makers roster, but the changes made in the past year paid off as the team found success in their efforts this time around.

Their run started through the open qualifiers, which they advanced from in sixth place, and their closed qualifier campaign began on shaky ground with a one-sided defeat in their opening best-of-one to Dewa United.

A stellar lower bracket sweep then kicked off as Trouble makers moved past Drippy Lab and SR Nacague to set up a rematch against Dewa United, where the Kyrgyzstani side scraped a win in double overtime on the decider to make the consolidation final.

Trouble makers then scored a narrow win over the only ranked team in the qualifier, Gods Reign, followed, with Trouble makers capping off their crusade with a 2-1 victory over MAG to qualify for the Asia RMR.

Notably, SR Nacague were disqualified on the final map of their series against Trouble makers for unclear reasons, with the admin team simply stating it was for "rule violations." Gods Reign and MAG players also took to social media to express suspicion of Trouble makers and some of the plays they made in the qualifier.

Lynn Vision, TYLOO qualify for Asia RMR

Two final spots at the Asia RMR are up for grabs through the Middle East closed qualifier, set to run from January 26-28.

From the rulebook "Once the team reverts to the Core Lineup, it may not subsitute again for any reason and must play shorthanded or forfeit if the situation arises." The team had already put their sub on once and due to a medical emergency they had to sub him in again which is against the rules and they were disqualified.

Trouble Makers played with 160 ping and used Radar Hacks to Qualify for the Asian RMR. All the teams did complain to the admins who didn't seem to care. What a Shit show by PGL.
