Update 19:05 : MIBR's manager has stated that his team will not compete in the South America qualifier as they will bootcamp in Europe until February 27 before going straight to the Americas RMR. A replacement is expected to be announced shortly, with BESTIA being the next highest-ranked SA team, and 9z just one spot below them.

ESL has announced the list of teams invited to the regional closed qualifiers for IEM Dallas, which is scheduled to take place from May 27-June 2 with $250,000 on offer.

FaZe, Vitality among first set of IEM Dallas invites

Cloud9, Virtus.pro, ENCE, and HEROIC have all been invited to the Europe qualifier based on their placements on ESL's World Ranking.

The latter two names leapfrogged the likes of Apeks, GamerLegion, and Eternal Fire after showcasing strong performances at IEM Katowice, but those teams who missed out will have the chance to join the list through two open qualifiers, the first of which kicks off on March 2.

PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR attendees BOSS and Nouns have received invites to the four-team North America closed qualifier, while FURIA will compete in their first South America qualifier since May 2018.

In the Oceania qualifier it is Rooster and Bad News Kangaroos who will skip the open qualifying round, the latter of whom outranks Christopher "⁠dexter⁠" Nong's Grayhound by 13 spots on ESL's ranking.
