siuhy: "We can see Brollan having a lot of fun, which maybe he previously didn't"
The Swedish rifler averaged a 1.21 rating at the RMR.

MOUZ have been one of the stand-out teams in the early part of 2024. While they didn't attend the BLAST Spring Groups due to not being a partner team, their first outing at IEM Katowice yielded a fantastic result.
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek and company went all the way to the semi-final, where they were stopped by an in-form FaZe, and followed that up by securing a Major spot with a 3-0 record at PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR B.
After putting an end to Spirit's win streak in Romania, siuhy spoke to HLTV about the potential of this MOUZ roster, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin's integration, and hinted at a secret plan that allowed his team to stop Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.
You just beat Spirit to qualify for the Major. Talk me through your feelings right now.
Honestly, it's a great feeling, especially after getting dumped out of Katowice against FaZe. We knew we had to step up in the next tournament, and we didn't really have a lot of time to reset, so I'm really happy with the team's performance.
I also wanted to ask about the Spirit series. They looked a bit shaky yesterday on Vertigo, is that why you chose it today?
Yes and no. They did look shaky, but we also felt really comfortable, and we knew the veto was on our side no matter what map it came down to. To us, it felt like we were in control, and we would be very confident with whatever map we had to play. Overall, I think we had a really good game plan against them. The preparation worked well on the server, and that's kudos to Dennis [sycrone] and everyone else who was involved with that.
On Mirage you didn't win a single pistol. Did that make the game harder than it should have been?
Definitely. Winning pistols, especially in MR12, gives you a lot. Unfortunately, we didn't get to win them, but even on the CT side, I don't think we felt like we were out of control. We were still playing well, and despite losing some rounds, we kept our cool and continued.
We lost the pistol again on the T side, but to us, it felt like those rounds were within reach. It was just a matter of time that we finally got those rounds, and that's what we did. We just played patiently, stayed composed till the end, and the rounds came our way.
donk didn't have a lot of impact against you. Did you prepare anything specific against him?
I don't want to give away too much, but we did some preparation against him. And as I said, it worked really well, so I'm happy with it.
Brollan has been performing well, and it's fair to say it's not just a honeymoon period at this point. How did you integrate him into your team and enable him to perform so well?
The most important thing for us is whenever a player comes in, it's not only him adapting to us, but also us adapting to him. He tells us what he likes to do, we get to know him as a player and person, and then we try to figure things out on the server. We're still yet to figure it out completely because we didn't really have a lot of time, but so far, the way we are balancing it between adapting to him and him adapting to us is really good, and we will continue doing that until we get to know the player.
He's also been a really good fit for the team outside of the server because of his age. He's joining a young group of people his age, so we can see him having a lot of fun, which maybe he previously didn't, as some may say. I'm really happy with the way he has been getting involved in the team because it's not like we are telling him to do things, it's also him bringing in his experience, and we are learning from it too.
You said you didn't have a lot of time to practice so far. What do you need to work on before the Major?
Now we go home, definitely relax a little bit, look at what's ahead of us. and use those days. We finally have a few days to actually practice. We want to see what our strengths and weaknesses are, work on them, and look at the possible opponents that we're going to face. We want to become more stable and consistent as a team.
You've reached the semis in Katowice and qualified 3-0 here. How much damage can this MOUZ team do?
We're still yet to show our potential, there's still a lot in us. We're still working every day, and there are still things that we are unhappy about on the server. Even though we had great performances right now, and we had a good performance in Katowice by reaching the semi-final, there is still a lot that we haven't shown yet, we're yet to unlock it. Now that we're going to have time to practice and get to know each other even more with Brollan, I hope it's going to be very efficient.
