G2 part ways with jks

jks is a free agent with the post-Major rostermania just over the horizon.

Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage has parted ways with G2, the organization have announced. He was benched in favor of Nemanja "⁠nexa⁠" Isaković in November after the squad's results dipped, despite being a key part of tournament-winning campaigns at IEM Katowice and Cologne.

"With jks, we had too many 'star' roles in the team," Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač told HLTV. "nexa will require less space and will do more for the team. I truly believe that jks will also shine and play better somewhere else as a star player."

Now a free agent, jks is free to explore his options, but has proven in the past that he is willing to wait for the right opportunity. He sat on Complexity's bench for nine months before returning with G2 in 2022, and has already declined approaches from the likes of BLEED in his current stint out of the server.
