Into the Breach are down to two players after missing out at the EU RMR.

Thomas led Into the Breach to Major playoffs in Paris

Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting has been benched on Into the Breach to put the roster down to two after their 0-3 finish at the PGL Major Copenhagen RMR.

"What we were able to achieve in ITB was something amazing," Thomas said on Twitter, referring to the previous lineup's run to the Paris Major quarter-finals. "I'm set on remaining as IGL, I'm looking for like-minded individuals who share similar goals on improving and reaching new heights together."

Thomas was the in-game leader of that side before stepping down in August 2023, and then returning to reform the Paris Major core ahead of the aforementioned RMR.

He joins Kévin "⁠misutaaa⁠" Rabier and Aurimas "⁠Bymas⁠" Pipiras on ITB's bench with a view on a move to a new team, with Bymas stating on Twitter that the team's lack of results led to a withdrawal of funding from the organization's sponsors.

With just Karol "⁠rallen⁠" Rodowicz and Joey "⁠CRUC1AL⁠" Steusel remaining on the starting lineup, the organization has teased a return to a UK core — but now must do so without the only remaning Brit in the form of Thomas.

That's a good move in my eyes, but I really hoped the core they were going to rebuild around would be Bymas, rallen and misutaaa, I think those were clearly their 3 best players, CRUC1AL is to inconsistent in my eyes, with a good AWPer and a better leader there was hope for this lineup in my eyes. Kinda sad ngl.
