hooch leaves Aurora
The 37-year-old coach has cut ties with the organization after a disappointing five-month spell.

Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov has officially parted ways with Aurora, the Russian coach has announced in a post on X. The news comes less than two months after the 37-year-old was removed from the team following a failed qualification for the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR.
hooch joined Aurora in November 2023 amid much fanfare as his appointment coincided with the arrival of Russian star Denis "deko" Zhukov, signed from 1win.
But despite the hype surrounding the team, Aurora couldn't even reach the Europe RMR, losing to IKLA, ex-ThunderFlash and FORZE in the closed qualifier.

Explaining that the qualifier results "could not go unnoticed," Aurora pulled the trigger on changes and benched Ivan "SELLTER" Miroshnikov. Just over a fortnight later, hooch was placed on the transfer list.
"Parted ways by mutual agreement with Aurora, which means I’m officially a free agent now!" hooch wrote on X.
"I’m now exploring new options as a coach or general manager. Fluent in English and quite experienced."
A former professional player on teams like Virtus.pro, Meet Your Makers and Gambit, hooch turned to coaching in 2020. His biggest achievements include a top-11 finish at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Major and a second place at the V4 Future Sports Festival, both with Entropiq.
On April 1, Aurora announced that assistant coach Stepan "brain" Sivoronov had been promoted to replace hooch. Earlier on Tuesday, the Serbian organization finalized its roster with the signing of Evgeny "r3salt" Frolov, who joined from forZe.
