n1ssim returns to Sharks after paiN loan deal expires

The Brazilian organization is still in discussions with a view to signing the 22-year-old on a permanent basis.

paiN and Sharks seem to be at an impasse regarding n1ssim

paiN have announced that loanee Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira will miss the team's upcoming matches as they have yet to reach an agreement with Sharks over a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old joined paiN in November on a loan deal until the end of March. He played an important role as the Brazilian team finished 9th-11th at the Major, where they were denied a spot in the playoffs by eventual champions Natus Vincere.

In a post on X, paiN said that they remain in discussions with Sharks to sign n1ssim on a permanent basis. Meanwhile, the Portuguese organization noted that the player has been recalled and will stay on the bench, "waiting for new offers."

For the time being, paiN will field academy player Marcelo "nyezin" Ramos, who stood in for the main lineup on a number of occasions in 2023. Later this week, paiN are slated to face Fluxo and Sharks in the ESL Challenger League.

Honestly, not the end of the world...when you have what it takes to (in this specific case) play in a professional team, you will make it one way or the other; saying no to an offer from "x" org because there's stuff you don't agree with or w/e other reason you may have, is not the end of the world nor a bad choice. All around the globe, pro players know and play with upcoming stars or experienced players who have what it takes to make playing cs a job; so they know each other, that's how noway made it to imperial for example. So again, saying no to a contract no matter how juicy or fat the check looks, it's not a bad idea perse as long as you thought things through and made the decision yourself.

not gonna be easy, sharks probably asking for a huge amount despite not even having interest in using him on the main sharks line-up just because of major performance, and considering pain hasn't made a deal yet it probably means pain standing point is: "we want the player but at a fair price, we ain't paying no m0nesy money just because you guys are delusional and greedy".

How did this happen to the BR CS scene. Its like a fantasy land where every buyout is 10x what it should be. Acting as if these barely tested BR talents are like NiKo and donk. 1 good tournament run and now a dude is worth 500k. tbf skullz who had like 20 international maps total cost fucking 600k???
