ESL Impact Season 5 Finals team list complete

The $123,000 tournament set to go down in Dallas now has all eight teams decided.

The queens of the Impact circuit, Pigeons (formerly Nigma Galaxy), will be favorites once again

With the conclusion of ESL Impact League Europe, all eight teams set to contest the trophy at ESL Impact Season 5 Finals, set to run May 31-June 2, are now known.

Four teams from Europe, two from North America, and one from South America have shown their mettle throughout the regular season in their respective regions to claim their berths, whilst one team from Asia-Pacific earned their spot via an open qualifier.

In Europe it was Pigeons, formerly Nigma Galaxy, and NAVI Javelins who topped their respective groups in the regular season to qualify for the finals in Dallas, the former comfortably sweeping their group with five series victories in a row, while the latter placed first thanks to a H2H win over Fearless Cheetahs. This came as no surprise as the two sides contested the grand final of ESL Impact League Season 4 Finals.

Nigma Galaxy lineup to depart organization; replace vilga with zAAz

Two more finals berths were up for grabs in Europe, which were decided by matches between second and third place in each group. Let Her Cook took down GUILD fe in a hotly-contested series 2-1 to ensure qualification, whilst BIG EQUIPA defeated Fearless Cheetahs 2-1 to nab the final spot. With Fearless Cheetahs' defeat Ksenia "⁠vilga⁠" Kluenkova, formerly of Nigma Galaxy, will miss the Impact finals for the first time.

The North American section of the league featured only one group of eight teams, with the top two finishers heading straight to the finals. FlyQuest RED and Shimmer topped the league in first and second respectively and did so in dominant fashion, only dropping maps to each other in a 2-1 series win for FlyQuest RED.

South America saw Fluxo Demons, who finished top-four in the finals of Season 4, claim the finals ticket on offer and deservedly so, the Brazilian squad marching through the league with only two maps dropped and a 7-0 series record.

HSG qualify for ESL Impact League Season 5 Finals

Finally, HSG fe will round out the team list having secured their spot back in March by storming imperiously through the Asia-Pacific open qualifier.
