Media: Wildcard in talks with Case over snow
The North American organization has expressed an interest in signing the 17-year-old Brazilian.
Wildcard have opened exploratory discussions with Case about signing João "snow" Vinicius, Dust2 Brasil has reported. A formal offer has not yet been made, but the 17-year-old is believed to have already held talks with the North American team, which is coached by fellow Brazilian João "horvy" Horvath.
snow burst onto the scene in 2020 at the age of 13 when he was signed by BOOM as a backup option ahead of Gamers Club Masters V. He went on to play for Young Gods and Los Grandes Academy before joining Case in March 2023.

The Brazilian teen has established himself as a key player for Case, especially since the release of Counter-Strike 2. He is averaging a team-high 1.19 rating and 1.27 impact in 2024.
Wildcard are still in the market for a new fifth player after parting ways with Gage "Infinite" Green last month. Since then, Qihao "C4LLM3SU3" Su has been playing with the team in online competitions on a trial basis.
Earlier this month, Wildcard attended IEM Chengdu as a late replacement for Complexity. With horvy and Ian "motm" Hardy acting as stand-ins, the team went out in 13th-16th place after losing to Virtus.pro and Cloud9.
