peacemaker eyes coaching return: "I miss competing"

The Brazilian coach has been away from the servers for over a year.

Former HEROIC and Liquid coach Luis "⁠peacemaker⁠" Tadeu has announced that he is open to coaching offers once again. The Brazilian, 36, has not coached since April 2023, when he left TeamOne on the eve of the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR.

Since then, he has spent most of his time creating content for his YouTube channel. He was also part of the broadcast team for IEM Rio 2023 and PGL Major Copenhagen.

"The last year has been extremely great and healthy for me," peacemaker wrote on X. "Lots of content making and broadcast opportunities, but I miss competing."

peacemaker is one of the most experienced coaches in Brazil, with a career that goes back almost a decade. In 2016, he notably led Liquid to the grand final of the ESL One Cologne Major and the semi-finals of ESL One New York.

Between November 2017 and May 2021 — after short-lived tenures with NRG, Misfits and TYLOO — he coached two Danish teams, HEROIC and MAD Lions, guiding the latter to the Flashpoint 1 title. He then returned to the Americas, where he had two spells with Imperial and also brief stints with Complexity and TeamOne.
