Lynn Vision and Jee part ways

The AWPer's contract with Lynn Vision will not be renewed after over a year on the team.

Jee was part of LV when they broke out on the international scene

Lynn Vision have announced the parting of ways with their AWPer, Dongkai "⁠Jee⁠" Ji, who had been a part of the team's starting five since March 2023.

During Jee's tenure with the big green, Lynn Vision broke out on the international scene and became China's top side, replacing TYLOO and Rare Atom as the previous dueling hegemons.

Most recently, however, the Chinese team lost to both Rare Atom and TYLOO in the Esports World Cup 2024 Asia Closed Qualifier, and Jee, who has at times been criticized for not having the impact of a star AWPer, will not be renewing his contract with the team.

Jee departs the squad having played several high-caliber international LANs, such as ESL Pro League Season 18, IEM Sydney 2023, CS Asia Championships, PGL Major Copenhagen, and IEM Chengdu, as well as local LANs in China, while averaging a 1.03 rating.

Lynn Vision are now:

dont know why I wrote way better, thats clearly not the case but kaze is still better as of now. I would still get Jee if im tyloo just because the short term drop is small and the potential is so much higher and there not a single good chinese speaking awper anyway. Something clearly has to change so a sidegrade+/- is gonna be worth but I also think kaze could instantly improve if he swapped place with jee for example, sometimes players just need a new environment, I think advents calling has just fucked with all the players for too long. Anyway they both perform pretty poorly against T1 opposition obviously at 0.91 against top 10 but Jee stays at 0.9 against top 20 and 30 as well whereas kaze is hovering 1.0 at a worse team so I absolutely think he is a better awper rn, swap makes sense if it happens I suppose but it doesnt bring much hope either
