broky was utterly dominant on Vertigo and Mirage

FaZe have seen off a strong challenge by Monte to book a spot in the next round of the ESL Pro League playoffs, taking wins on Vertigo (13-7) and Mirage (13-10) either side of a loss on Nuke (14-16).

They might be the most consistently elite team in CS2, but FaZe were still made to work hard for their win by a Monte squad with two freshly added and inexperienced players among their ranks.

Jack "⁠Gizmy⁠" von Spreckelsen and Gytis "⁠ryu⁠" Glušauskas both put in performances that belied their tender years as they produced multi-kills and clutches that stood toe to toe with the best FaZe had to offer, forcing every ounce of resilience out of FaZe's locker before going down.

Casting off a blowout Vertigo, Monte overcame some tough moments to steal away Nuke in overtime before taking Mirage down to the wire. They will lament some of the favorable situations they threw away on Mirage as the upset was truly on the cards, but nonetheless, they can be proud of their showing.

As for FaZe, well, this is what they do. Until we really get to the business end of tournaments FaZe tend to put in 75% performances at best, but they always pull just enough out of the bag to get through.

Today was no different, with Helvijs "⁠broky⁠" Saukants proving the difference-maker thanks to his immense performances on Vertigo and Mirage. FaZe will need to step up alongside him if they hope to carry on their run through the Pro League bracket as a difficult test awaits them in their next game: A rematch of the Copenhagen Major grand final against Natus Vincere.

Yes but he is HUGE loose cannon, Faze won many game because of him, but at the same time they also lost many games because of his brain error moments. He is good awper for Faze, but I would still prefer someone more reliable and less "messy chaos style" since as huge faze fan broky is always bringing me heart attacks. It is my dream that Faze get super elite awper again since the day Guardian left. Just imagine if Faze had level of awper like zywoo or m0nesy. Team would be unstoppable.

Yeah I could understand that, broky loves giving heart attacks to FaZe fans. For ZywOo and m0NESY, the question is would FaZe remove broky for either of them, or would they get rid of rain, ropz, frozen etc. broky is a GREAT rifler who USUALLY has good clutches so if he's kept over rain for example, who will entry alongside karrigan? m0NESY especially needs his space to cook. Getting rid of broky also means losing his great rifling skills as well, plus the team synergy would change a lot since broky is practically second caller. TL;DR - broky isn't the MAIN problem right now. (I think ropz hitting a slump is, if he wakes up with 2023 form then FaZe is unstoppable)

Ropz isnt on a slump, he is giving some things to frozen so that the team works even better than before. And it's worked so far.

Yes he gave up some roles on some maps to frozen which impacted his rating and number, but at the same time he has been in little slump as of lately, especialy during major he was ghost of himself. Those two you mention aren't contradicting each other.

I mean if broky got replaced by zywoo or m0nesy they would honestly lose nothing in regard of rifling, since m0nesy is just as good if not better rifler than broky and with zywoo? Zywoo is zywoo he is miles ahead of broky in everything including rifling. So -broky +monesy/zywoo would be clear upgrade on paper. As of team chemistry and synergy? That is questionable, but both zywoo and monesy seem to be pretty chill non-tilter, non-toxic guys good in the clutch so it would most likely be ok. I am not saying that he is low rated or that he is bad player or that he is the problem and has to be replaced. I am just saying my heart health would benefit if broky would get replaced with someone like m0nesy or zywoo. It's just my wishful thinking since I know they will never kick/bench broky, because it doesn't make sense, he is playing good overall and Faze is huge vibe and synergy team. Plus they seem as genuine friends, no one is getting kicked ever almost, you have to step down yourself like twistzz did. Not to mention zywoo will never leave Vitality ever maybe when he is 30 and washed. With m0nesy? There is deffo chance he would be willing if Faze were after him, but I don't know what would have to happen in Faze. Broky would have to throw the bomb to CTs on purpose and troll for 6 months straight xD

A core with ZywOo or m0NESY reminds me of the FaZe superteam with NiKo (frozen), rain, karrigan, olofmeister (ropz) and GuardiaN (broky). A team that literally had all the firepower in the world. broky actual role is a support awper. just like me. though his playstyle is really suit on current faze team. him and rain play perfect combo tbh, and on late game, him and ropz often deliver. broky create chaos, bring chaos and complete the chaos, and thats the current faze playstyle. his move is so unpredictable, not like simple with aggro-flick or monesy flick or zywoo push. he can play passive. he can play aggro. he can play anchor. he can play support. he can hold angle. but most of time, he play short range awp, and thats the chaos he bring. enemy couldnt expect his move, enemy cant mark him in any map. theres a way to shut simple or monesy or zywoo and its proven by many teams. but no one can shut broky except himself. zywho and m0nezy absolutely capable on bringchaos, but can they create the chaos itself? no, both are more like star player in star awper role. can faze getting better with both? absolutely. but why should faze replace broky with anyone of them? no reason.

broky's career is an interesting one. I remember when they first got him in Faze, when Niko was igling)) Team was doing bad, and everyone wanted broky to be kicked. He somehow not only stayed, but became one of the best awpers in the scene. Not really a super star, or flashy, but he gets job done, and I respect him a lot

confusing times eh? basically i hate faze because org is entangled in a bunch of drama (like recruiting broccoliheads who cheat in fortnite and various things about not paying members salaries).
