Aurora to replace Apeks at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring
The Russian team will travel to Mongolia later this month for the $100,000 tournament.

Aurora have been invited to participate in the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring, the event's organisers have announced. They will replace Apeks, whose future remains unclear after the entire roster was put up for transfer.
Apeks announced on May 1 that they had decided to begin a "comprehensive rebuild plan" with the aim to achieve long-term success. The team is still competing in ESL Challenger League Season 47 Europe, in which it will face System5 on May 14 in stage 2's low seed group.

Aurora recently attended the ESL Challenger LAN in Melbourne, finishing runners-up to MIBR. The invite to the Mongolian event adds to an already busy period for the Russian team, which is set to compete in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, the CCT Global Finals and ESL Challenger Jönköping.
The MESA Nomadic Masters Spring will take place between May 28 and June 2 in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. Aurora will join teams like The MongolZ, OG and BLEED in the tournament, which will feature a double-elimination bracket with best-of-five finals.
The event's team list is now the following:
