ryu returns to Monte academy after EPL exit
The Lithuanian's stint with the main team ends after two months.

Monte have announced Gytis "ryu" Glušauskas' return to the organization's academy roster, Monte Gen.
The 19-year-old was promoted from the junior roster in March alongside Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen to replace Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Astralis-bound Alexander "br0" Bro, and went on to play four tournaments with the main team with mixed success.
ryu's last outing took place at the ESL Pro League Season 19, his first Big Event appearance, during which he helped the team make it to the playoffs with two wins over FORZE and one over FURIA. Their campaign ended in the first round of playoffs after a three-map affair against the world's No. 1 team, FaZe.
Monte's Esports Director has thanked ryu for his dedication and stated the organization will announce the new academy and main roster lineups "soon." They have the next two weeks to do so, with the main team's next LAN outing at IEM Dallas kicking off on May 27.
