fnatic miss CCT playoffs in blameF's debut event

The new-look squad bows out of the online event after two close losses.

blameF and co. were bested by ENCE in their second meeting

fnatic made their first appearance with star-studded signing Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer in the online CCT Global Finals, facing off against ENCE, GamerLegion, and Gaimin Gladiators in Group B of the event. The former Astralis player showed all of his talent in his debut tournament, but he couldn't prevent fnatic from being eliminated in the group stage.

Although Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro's men hit the ground running with a 2-0 victory over ENCE in their opening matchup, fnatic struggled to replicate this success in their following two matches.

The team's first loss came at the hands of GamerLegion, another squad that recently received a facelift with the addition of former Nemiga player Timur "⁠FL4MUS⁠" Marev. In a hotly contested series in Group B's winners' match, GamerLegion eked out the win to book fnatic a rematch with ENCE in the group's decider.

A matchup that had previously produced a straightforward 2-0 for fnatic was far less kind the second time around, as ENCE managed to get it over the line in overtime on the deciding map of Dust2 to deny fnatic a playoff berth.

Despite the tough losses, blameF did not skip a beat in his form in his debut, posting a team-high 1.23 rating across eight maps played, the fifth-highest of the event so far.

While fnatic will be lamenting missing out on playoffs in their first event with their new-look lineup, the team can now look ahead to their next LAN outing, the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. fnatic will have ample time to prepare for the event, which will run from June 14-16.

If the "Baitf thingy" wasnt real, then why did no top team scramble to pick him up when he was available for months..? If hes as good as your delusional self thinks he is, there are numerous top teams who should have been jumping at the opportunity, no? But there didnt seem to be much interest in him by any top t1 teams, and he was relegated to signing with borderline tier 3 Fnatic lmao. You didn't get it, didn't you? Let me cut it out for you: If it was a P R O B L E M to the teams at the pro scene, he wouldn't have played for org's like Heroic, Astralis, Complexity and now fnatic. Yes, I know it's a "problem" to hltv loo ... eeeh ... users, but: We are HERE. He is THERE: Top20 for four years straight, out of 1.6 MILLION cs players. You can howl with the pack of puppydogs all you want: He IS one of the more dangerous players in 1v1's out there, no matter the weapon. No team has worked out how to utilize his play optimally so far, but DON'T tell me you believe he's the only one baiting out there.

pls just sign mantuu or anyone except afro. blameF is a great player (as we saw), but he isnt some 1 man carry show that can take some mid roster to the top himself. Especially since t2 is stacked with amazing awpers that perform (unlike afro in this fnatic stint).

His game probably improves or is even more impactful with a great awper imo. tho his playstyle is high DPR but high KPR so its not so easy to be consistently great in those positions (moreso when your team is held back by a bad awper).

With all due respect, this fnatic roster requires more changes. BlameF gets unnecessary hate, while there are certain other players in the team who prevent them from ever being any good.
