Jerry benched in PARIVISION

The in-game leader is taking some time off to recover from burnout.

PARIVISION has announced that Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov will no longer be part of the starting five, as he will step back to deal with burnout after eight months on the team.

The former FORZE in-game leader could not help the PARIVISION squad make it out of the lower rungs of competition since the team's inception in September 2023, racking up low online placements and a peak of 46th place in the world ranking before falling to the 68th spot.

Jerry's final event was the online CCT Global Finals that just reached playoffs, where PARIVISION were eliminated in 13-16th place following losses to Eternal Fire and Aurora.

"Hello, everyone. The news came out. I'm benched now," Jerry said. "I want to point out that, first and foremost, it was my decision, and I want to thank the team and the organization for agreeing with me. It was a mutual agreement, so a special thanks to PARI for this.

"Regarding me, I'm burnt out. I could no longer bring the impact that I can, I could not play the way I can play, and realized that the guys need a breath of fresh air, so I will take a few steps back to be fresh on my return. In the meantime, I will be streaming and doing more media activity. Stay tuned, don't go anywhere."
