GUILD part ways with BNE; team disbands*
rigoN is the first player to leave the squad since it came together in 2022.

13:00 Update: Flatron "juanflatroo" Halimi and Genc "gxx-" Kolgeci came out to say they were also leaving the team, disbanding the squad.
Rigon "rigoN" Gashi announced that he is parting ways with his teammates of over two years, Bad News Eagles, and is ready to walk down a new path away from his former teammates. After that announcement, juanflatroo and gxx- also came out to state that their time on the team was over, effectively disbanding the squad.
The news comes at the same time that the team and its organization, Guild Eagles, announced that they will no longer be affiliated.
The Kosovan side, under the Bad News Eagles tag, smashed their way to the limelight in 2022 when they qualified for the PGL Major in Antwerp from the open qualifier and made it all the way to the tournament's Legends Stage.
Known for their emotional outbursts in big moments, went on to play two more majors: IEM Rio, where they famously eliminated FaZe in a group stage elimination match, and BLAST.tv Paris.
In November 2023, the team signed with GUILD, becoming Guild Eagles, but they failed to make their mark under the British organization.
Missing the PGL Major in Copenhagen at the beginning of the year was a big blow to a team known for overperforming during big moments in the open circuit but falling short in colder settings, such as online play, where they have lately spent most of their time struggling with mediocre results.

rigoN's farewell is an emotive one, as could be expected from the departure of the first member of a team that came up together and carried a nation on their shoulders. "Saying goodbye to you is harder for me than I can put into words," rigoN wrote on X.
"The time with you was one of the best of my life. We celebrated incredible successes together, experienced unforgettable moments and continually motivated each other to do our best. Every challenge we've overcome and every game we've played together has only made our bond stronger."
"You are more than just teammates to me — you are friends who have become my family. Even if I choose a different path now, I will always carry the memories and experiences we shared together in my heart.
"I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great time and wish you all continued success and joy in the future. May our paths cross again one day."
The team was slated to play RES Adriatic League Season 4 and RES Season 7, with the hopes of advancing to the next stages in the qualification processes for ESL Pro League and BLAST Premier.
The former Guild Eagles were:
