HEROIC bag IEM Dallas playoff spot over BIG

A 2-0 victory over BIG concluded a straightforward run through the lower bracket for HEROIC.

HEROIC have booked themselves a place in the playoffs of IEM Dallas, the fifth of six fortunate teams to do so. The final hurdle in their path was BIG, who Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski and co. ultimately mopped up with ease.

HEROIC's victory over BIG concluded a dominant run through the lower bracket of IEM Dallas, where the international side cleared M80 and Natus Vincere despite an early loss to Virtus.pro.

By claiming a playoff spot, HEROIC have simultaneously laid claim to one of their strongest placings since the formation of their international lineup at the beginning of the year.

HEROIC's series against BIG kicked off on the latter side's choice of Ancient, where the international squad recovered from an early 1-5 deficit to equalize the scoreline at halftime. Once on the T-side HEROIC firmly secured control of the game, marching on to a 13-7 victory on their opponent's map pick.

HEROIC had no issue keeping up the momentum on their own pick of Nuke, setting aside BIG handily with a 13-4 scoreline to send the German side packing, while locking down a duel in IEM Dallas playoffs versus Vitality.
