The playoffs will begin on Friday with the quarter-finals, featuring FaZe vs. G2 and Vitality vs. HEROIC matchups.

FaZe will play G2 in the quarter-finals

The playoffs bracket at IEM Dallas has been set after the final day of the group stage came to an end with HEROIC and G2 claiming the final two spots in the bracket stage.

That will be played in front of live audience in Dallas' Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center starting with the quarter-finals featuring the second and third-placed teams from the group stage on Friday.

There, HEROIC will first face off against Vitality before FaZe take on G2. The semi-finals will follow on Saturday with the tournament's surprise, 9z, awaiting the winner of the latter match and Spirit the former.

I will again not expect a win against Faze, it's just very hard without the proper team. If they do it, of course the grand final will suddenly be very possible, because 9Z after it is a easier opponent than Faze. But Faze is the best team in the world, if they play at 100% nobody will win against them (in this tourney)

After MOUZ tanking out of the groups, yeah, I'd say FaZe is the best team in the world. Spirit might be better but they don't show up to tournaments as often which hurts their score (and maybe performance as well). I just wish Frozen shows up in the big games lol

So is calling any other team the best. The environment is very competitive, one day you have ZyWoo breaking records, the other he's sitting at a 1.1 rating and Vitality crumbles because of it. Spirit destroys everyone with Donk, then goes to boot camp for 6 weeks. FaZe is simply the most consistent out of all of the teams. If not FaZe, then who would you pick then?

Form always goes up and down, if you want to make ratings on that, good luck, it's too chaotic and every team will seem "inconsistent". As other guy said, the scene is very competitive, this makes other teams seem "inconsistent" but they're only countered, rather. FaZe is easily the best team in the world, Mouz has more points now because of a bit more success than them, wow they won this meaningless bookie tournament with 0 crowd and 8 teams, but they could never beat FaZe, so FaZe is for me the real #1 and the end boss, not mouz and not anyone else. And btw IEM Chengdu > EPL studio tournament with 0 crowd. Get rid of studio tournaments, they're a abomination, half-assed thing.
