BLAST announce Spring Final talent

Six Brits have been hired for their home event at Wembley Arena.

Major finals duo Harry and Hugo will be in London

Ten talent members have been hired for BLAST Spring Final, including six from the United Kingdom for their home London event.

The $425,000 event will be held in the OVO Arena Wembley, the same venue as the FACEIT London Major of 2018.

Major finals commentary duo Hugo "⁠Hugo⁠" Byron and Harry "⁠JustHarry⁠" Russell are the big additions and return from the Showdown ensemble, joining mainstays Conner "⁠Scrawny⁠" Girvan and Mohan "⁠launders⁠" Govindasamy.

Freya "⁠Freya⁠" Spiers returns to the desk as host after missing Spring Group to link up with pundits Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez, Lucas "⁠Bubzkji⁠" Andersen, and fellow Brit Alex "⁠hawka⁠" Hawkins.

After a few S-Tier events paired with James "⁠BARDOLPH⁠" Bardolph for commentary on ESL's B stream, hawka returns to a top-tier desk for the first time since the IEM Rio Major 2022.

Finally, James "⁠BanKs⁠" Banks has been hired as stage host and interviewer, with Jacky "⁠Jacky⁠" Powers as the arena host.

No no, it's right, it's called Wembley Arena whereas Wembley Stadium is referring to the legendary ground. This is the Esports / Concert equivalent to that, at least for London.

Same goes for the Lanxess Arena in Cologne though. The stage is covering 1/4th oder 2/3rds of the seats and it‘s still nice (in the case that is comparable, if not, ignore me)

I liked Anders 8 years ago. His voice is nice, but half the time when casting he's doing some braindead analysis he knows nothing about and nitpicking on the smallest mistakes players make. So many better options nowadays.
