m0NESY to miss first BLAST Spring Final match
The AWPer's passport is delayed and he is not expected to arrive in time to make the first day of play.

G2's star AWPer, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, is currently stuck in limbo as he waits for his passport after a last-minute visa approval that would allow him to travel to London for the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

The passport is currently stuck in transit and is now expected to be delivered mid-day on Thursday, which means that the 19-year-old will miss G2's debut match against Spirit.
The match between G2 and Spirit would have been the first time Russia's top two talents, m0NESY and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, who are both currently gunning for player of the year, would face each other.

Coach Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas will return to the servers in the AWPer's stead as G2 continue to field a stand-in after IEM Dallas, where Jake "Stewie2K" Yip took the mantle from Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and helped the team lift the trophy in Texas.
The 38-year-old coach, previously a legendary player in his own right during the Golden Five and Polish Virtus.pro eras between 2006 and 2018, will return to the server after retiring from competition over a year ago, although he has not competed at the highest level since early 2018, when he departed the Armenian organization.
