B8 claimed victory in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 5 after handily dispatching a hamstrung 3DMAX 2-0 in the grand final, a win that adds a third online title to the Ukrainian team's cabinet in as many months after their previous wins in EU Series 2 and Elisa Invitational Spring.

B8 claim first title with headtr1ck in CCT Series 2

3DMAX had to use their coach, Damien "⁠wasiNk⁠" Dufour, as a substitute for Lucas "⁠Lucky⁠" Chastang on map one of the title decider, their pick of Anubis, but couldn't overcome a strong showing from Arseniy "⁠cptkurtka023⁠" Derevinskiy as B8 stole the map (13-8) before closing out the series on Ancient (13-6).

Daniil "⁠headtr1ck⁠" Valitov and company were directly invited to the top-16 stage of the event and dispatched of MOUZ NXT and Illuminar without significant issue, but had to fight from behind against Monte and only narrowly reverse-swept the series to lock in a finals appearance before easing to victory over 3DMAX.
