EspiranTo returns in 9INE Academy

The Lithuanian has finally found a team after announcing his return to activity.

EspiranTo hailed the "extremely professional environment" on the team

Former Imperial and CR4ZY member Rokas "⁠EspiranTo⁠" Milasauskas has linked up with 9INE Academy, the Swedish organization has announced. The Lithuanian is one of three academy players unveiled today by 9INE, along with Roman "⁠n0te⁠" Hamze and Tom "⁠skyye⁠" Hagedorn.

In February, EspiranTo announced his return to activity after taking a long break to finish his military service. In an interview with HLTV, he admitted to struggling with motivation and disciplinary issues early in his career and noted that the only thing holding him "was pure talent."

EspiranTo targets return: "This time I ain't stopping halfway"

The 23-year-old recently competed in two local tournaments, the InfoShow LAN Party and the Comic Con Baltics 2024 Finals, for a mix team called EZ4ENCE. In June, he played for 9INE Academy in the European Pro League Season 18: Division 2 and United21 Season 16.

"Just finished a bootcamp with the guys and flying home today," EspiranTo wrote on X. "Extremely professional environment and a great place to start competing again."

skyye joins 9INE Academy on loan from BIG. The German player spent the last five months competing for ALTERNATE aTTaX, averaging a 0.95 rating. n0te had been without a team since May, when he left Monte Gen.

I think he is going to show what he is capable of, and remind people that he can play on tier 2-3, and wait offer from t1-t2 teams on new year while teams will be shuffling rosters.

I'm kinda sad that this is the only opportunity he got, I think he deserves something bigger, but I mean, it's a place to show off your skills and join a better team, I really believe in EspiranTos comeback, I do think he is and always was an unreal talent, and I think it's a matter of time before we see him at the top tournaments again. What's most surprising is like it's 9INE Academy, not even like G2 Academy or something... dissapointing really, I would say he for sure deserves a chance to play for a team like 9INE main team at the very very least... kinda sad.
