FISSURE to host two LAN events in Belgrade in 2025

A total prize pool of $2,250,000 is up for grabs across FISSURE's events.

FISSURE are the organizer behind BetBoom Dacha events

Tournament organize FISSURE has informed HLTV that they will host two LAN tournaments in 2025, which will be held in July and September in Belgrade, Serbia. The events will feature a total prize pool of $2,250,000.

With this announcement FISSURE, who organized all of the BetBoom Dacha events, has entered the fray in what promises to be a packed 2025 calendar. Thus far only ESL has an event scheduled for July 2025, but BLAST, StarLadder, ESL and Skyesports all have events planned for September 2025.

Valve to end team and tournament organizer partnerships starting in 2025

Each of FISSURE's tournaments will consist of 16 teams, invited based on the Valve Regional Standings, and will consist of a play-in and main event. The play-in portions of the events will be played online, whilst the main event will be played on LAN.

For the tournament in July, the play-in will see 16 teams split into four GSL-style BO3 groups, with the top two teams in each group proceeding to the main event. The main event will feature a single-elimination BO3 bracket, with the grand finals being BO5. $1,000,000 has been set aside for the prize pool, with $400,000 of that going to the winner.

July Edition:

Location: Belgrade, Serbia
No. of teams: 16
Play-in format (online): GSL-style groups
Main event format (LAN): Single-elimination BO3, BO5 grand final
Prize pool: $1,000,000

The September edition will utilize a BO3 Swiss system for the online play-in, with the top eight teams proceeding to the LAN main event. Single-elimination BO3 play will take over for the main event, with the grand final once again being BO5. The prize pool for this event will be $1,250,000, of which $450,000 is set aside for the winner.

September Edition:

Location: Belgrade, Serbia
No. of teams: 16
Play-in format (online): Swiss system
Main event format (LAN): Single-elimination BO3, BO5 grand final
Prize pool: $1,250,000

+1 Bro if gambling sites can afford to sponsor teams and LAN events, yet bettors still cry when losing Cant you just know in gambling house always wins?? Just stop using their sites lol 😂

Not exactly how it works with betting. In betting if someones loses - someone gains, in casinos you just lose and house takes your money But betting operators take commisions, should be like 20% of all bets if "even" odds are considered 1.8 instead of 2.0 (which would imply equal amount of money on both teams and giving everything to the winner, not happening though, 20% are lost in the process)

they earn a fuck ton off of low iq imbeciles with 0 accountability who bet/gamble their money away. if you look in twitch chat at these games and most other 'less relevant' tournaments you'll see it's full of bettors in chat, some of them going full schizo with "pause mafia"/"322"/"scripted game"/etcetc. I'm not saying there aren't scripted games in lesser tiers, but VP vs Falcons for the last spot in Rio is probably not it

8 tournaments with 1M+ prize poll and 2 of them are BetBoom Dacha. If so-called "top teams" don't want to try to win some good money, well, more opportunities for young, hungry teams is always good anyway.

it's a gambling site. Gambling sites are literally printing money, they don't care about this. And they probably earn this all back with new people signing up and playing on their site.

Bro 2025 gonna be crazy. 2.25m just for some tier 1.5 tournaments. Bur i think that there is going to be to many tournaments and the top teams will skip many of them leading to lower teams having bigger chances. Like 1.25m for one tournament is crazy. Thats major prizepool now imagine team like heroic to win it

I dont understand people complaining about this, you dont *have* to watch tourneys you dont care about, im already not watching betboom dacha. im not gonna watch these either, but its still cool with more lans and maybe if the team list is interesting enough and we get some new faces I will change my mind, but we already have tons of CS at the same time, 1000 constant online cups going on, you can just ignore them, and when sometimes theres a cool match you watch it. Teams will pick and choose the bigger tourneys, I imagine this will have 1 or 2 top teams and some others that get a chance at some money and lan matches, thats pretty cool. My point being that I dont think things will be much different, just that top 30-20 teams will play more lans instead of only online, and top 15 teams will pick and choose T1 lans to play so you can just watch the ones that have a lot of them if you dont want too much CS going on. Its basically like the online thunderpick cups being made lans instead

it's good that more and more tournaments are being organized in Serbia, because there are a lot of talented players there and the popularity of CS2 has dropped a lot in that region, and with this I think that Cs2 will be at the top in that region again!
