1WIN transfer-list trio; to rebuild with HObbit and lattykk

1win has announced sweeping changes to its roster "due to the team's unsatisfactory results in recent months," moving Sanzhar "⁠neaLaN⁠" Iskhakov, Timur "⁠buster⁠" Tulepov, and Boris "⁠Ryujin⁠" Kim to the transfer list and parting ways with coach Aset "⁠Solaar⁠" Sembiyev.

"When forming the squad, we decided to fully rely on the authority and experience of the coach," 1WIN's operations manager, Vladimir "Kayos" Ivanov, said in a statement posted by the organization on VK.

"Unfortunately, by the middle of the season it became clear that the squad was not developing at the pace that would suit us. Now, looking back, it becomes clear that replacing Jyo was not the best idea."

The overhaul comes on the heels of 1win's failed Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR closed qualifier campaign, where the Kazakhstani-majority lineup failed to win a map and were eliminated 0-3 following losses to Sangal, ECLOT, and TSM.

Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov and Vladislav "⁠lattykk⁠" Vydrin, the team's two highest-rated players, remain on the roster and will be a part of the organization's rebuild which will be focused on "young and eager players."

The former Cloud9 rifler, who only joined the team in July, will provide the experience and ability to "lead the youth" for the organization in their rebuild.

"We are ready to take another step back in order to come to a result that will suit us, even if not as fast as we would like," Kayos' statement concluded.
