Justinas "⁠jL⁠" Lekavicius has earned his second HLTV x 1XBET Most Valuable Player (MVP) award after Natus Vincere became champions of ESL Pro League Season 20.

The Lithuanian rifler earned his first medal at PGL Major Copenhagen and has proved his mettle as a big game player this year, but it was his pre-final play that put the MVP into his pocket in Malta as he spearheaded NAVI's path to the trophy.

He averaged a 1.42 rating in Natus Vincere's tournament map wins and put together a sensational four-map run (1.71, 1.89, 1.47, 1.48) against Spirit and G2 — both top-five teams — in the quarter and semi-final map wins.

Even during a poor best-of-five final against Eternal Fire, jL shone on map three of Ancient with a player-of-the-map worthy 1.54 rating, a trademark 1v3 clutch on the Ramp, and later popped up with a tournament-winning triple on Dust2's decider.

His record of 1.09 kills per round win put him clear of the main competition from his team, Mihai "⁠iM⁠" Ivan (1.01, though iM had more damage), while the fact that Natus Vincere's four stars all had their moments in the final benefitted jL as his pre-final lead became crucial.

He was also under competition from losing finalists Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş and Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker, but once again the pre-existing gap was too big for the chasing pack to bridge.

MVP is given for making finals or atleast semi (but stats should be inhuman) and the stats are being counted whole tournament not only from finals. He had the biggest raiting out of all 10 players when tourmanemt ended so thats why he was awarded MVP

He might have sucked in the final ratings wise, however in the full tournament you cannot deny him the things he did to push navi for this win. Also he had HUGE impact in the winning rounds for navi this Final. Stats might not say so, however if you saw the final, you would know.

I respect him for admitting he didnt deserve this. Overall he was so good previous to the final that in my opinon there was still not a better candidate. Also, why the fuck does everybody hate him so much? The winners interview was pretty humble from him. He genuinely seems like a nice guy with confidence.
