MIBR Fans Come Here: Lucaozy's adaption, drop's leadership, and insani's ceiling ft. Roque
Episode 2 of HLTV's latest show focuses on whether drop and company can make it through the Americas RMR.
MIBR are on the brink when it comes to the RMR. They are the seventh seed in an event with seven Major slots on offer.
That, though, is generous considering their form after making a last-minute roster swap by signing Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves in place of Breno "brnz4n" Poletto.
On LAN, MIBR suffered a last-place exit from ESL Challenger Katowice, and are 16-21 in maps overall with Lucaozy despite qualifying for ESL Pro League back home in Brazil. After missing the last three Majors, Shanghai, too, is far from a certainty for the team.

They are also the topic of Episode 2 of HLTV's newest podcast, 'Come Here,' — a play on the title of regular forum posts demanding changes in a team — featuring Harry "NER0" Richards and Danish "Nohte" Allana as regulars with a rotating guest as the third.
Episode 1 took on Liquid with the help of Donald "voo" Parkhurst, and we are back with the help of Dust2.com.br editor Roque Marques to break down MIBR's chances of making the Major.
The full video has the details, and the background of MIBR's 2+ year pursuit of Lucaozy courtesy of Roque, but for a taste of what the series is about here is a taster.
First on the docket for MIBR was the signing of Lucaozy, who used to occupy the aggressive star role for Fluxo but, given Felipe "insani" Yuji's supremacy in those positions, is being made to adapt in MIBR.

The thinking behind the move is obvious: Add a 1.20-rated (for Fluxo, at least) star fragger to complement insani and add some bite to the team.
Lucaozy has been a target for MIBR for years, and for good reason. Now 23, his 'big' move has come later than some (including MIBR) expected but his firepower against local competition has been proven in multiple seasons.
But it has come at a cost, with Lucaozy struggling to find the same impact in his new role. In 37 maps for MIBR, he has dropped to a 0.97 rating — and has a lower HLTV attribute score in everything except Trading. This is before he has faced much international competition, too.

That has left the team overly reliant on insani — just like they were before their ESL Pro League run.
For whether we think MIBR can overcome Lucaozy's early struggles, you'll have to check out the full show.
We've got more stats and figures, Roque's insight on why many in the Brazilian scene were shocked to hear André "drop" Abreu became an in-game leader, and much much more.
