Liquid vs FURIA headlines day 3 of Americas RMR

One of the two Americas giants will be staring elimination in the face on Thursday.

The match-ups for the fourth Swiss round of the Americas RMR have been determined, with three more teams set to book spots at the Major on Thursday.

All eyes will be on the 2-1 matchup between FURIA and Liquid, the two highest-ranked teams in the tournament. It will be the first clash between the two sides since IEM Cologne, where Liquid beat the Brazilians on two occasions (2-1 in the Play-In stage and 2-0 in the group stage).

Another match that is bound to excite Americas fans will be the North American derby between Complexity and M80. The two teams last faced each other in ESL Pro League 20, where Elias "⁠s1n⁠" Stein's charges ran out 2-0 winners.

The other 2-1 pool match will be an all-LATAM clash between paiN and 9z. In the 1-2 pool, tension will be high as Legacy will take on RED Canids in an elimination series.
