Highlights: Nemiga oust Rebels from Europe RMR after 105-round thriller
One bullet away from elimination, Rebels forced another 50 rounds of play only to bow out in last place anyway.

Nothing described the first elimination match of the Europe RMR between Nemiga and Rebels better than Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski's words on X afterward: "Absolute cinema," the Polish veteran said. "The number of team and individual errors on both sides was colossal."
Countless throws and match points left unconverted meant the match lasted a staggering 105 rounds. And yet, it could have been over in almost half as many, had it not been for Kamil "kisserek" Banak's Death-defying clutch when Rebels were staring down the barrel of elimination down a map and at 17-18 on the second, Anubis, with the player at 3 HP.
Somehow, some way, he avoided three bursts from Aliaksandr "1eeR" Nahorny when stuck in Jail, found the smoke to get himself out of the terrible position, and won the extended clutch after getting the timing on the Belarussian all the way over on the other bombsite 30 seconds later.
The second map went to another two overtimes after that, rounds like the aforementioned one not a rarity and causing even Jason "moses" O'Toole to give up on commentary while another crazy clutch began to unfold.
Rebels ended up winning in fourth overtime and forced Ancient. The decider started out as if Nemiga got their wind knocked out of them as the Poles racked up a 7-1 lead, but the Russian-majority team finally found their stride with four in a row and got to recovering the situation.
As the map reached the late stages, the decider descended into madness akin to Anubis. A Patryk "olimp" Woźniak whiff in a 2v2 situation on A at 10-9 meant Nemiga took the lead late, but then the Russians' own 4v2 throw sent it to overtime.
One set wasn't enough once again, as Rebels survived up against another match point thanks to a nail-biting execute in the last 15 seconds.
The second set was almost heading the same way, but Nemiga finally made their third opportunity to close the map count after two more unconverted match points.
From the way Nemiga reacted, you could have very well thought they lost the match.
With the victory, Nemiga sent the only Polish-majority team in attendance at the Europe RMRs packing. That means the Slavic country's hopes of a good Major result rest on a handful of international sides boasting individual players or coaches.
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak has already qualified with Liquid, so has Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak with Wildcard, and now Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek is through with MOUZ. The remaining Polish representation is scattered throughout the European teams: Filip "NEO" Kubski in FaZe, Dawid "SaMey" Stańczak in Sangal, and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas in G2.
