BetBoom eliminate Nemiga from Shanghai RMR

BetBoom have eliminated Nemiga from Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR A following a dominant 2-0 series victory (13-8 Ancient, 13-8 Mirage) in the 1-2 pool.

Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov's side began their RMR campaign on the right foot with a 13-4 victory over UNiTY, but were given the same treatment by Vitality (3-13) before narrowly falling to fnatic to end up staring down an early elimination.

They've avoided that and earned a chance to fight for a spot at the Major with a confident victory over Nemiga, who barely survived a disastrous 105-round series against Rebels on day two where both sides made countless mistakes.

BetBoom didn't offer Nemiga a chance to repeat those errors, carving out a dominant lead on the CT side of Ancient after emerging atop an early force-buy war to rapidly running away with the half, 9-3.

Kirill "⁠Magnojez⁠" Rodnov powered a large part of that effort, combining with nafany's Cave presence which constricted Nemiga's defaults, and BetBoom wasted little time in putting the map to bed in the second half.

Nemiga cobbled together a handful of rounds midway through the first half of Mirage again, but continued to look as if they were fighting out of their weight class.

A seven-round attacking half from BetBoom did well to showcase the tactical difference between the two sides, and once they swapped over there was little doubt in victory with Magnojez again topping the charts for his team (21-10 K-D, 101.6 ADR, 1.64 rating).
