The Ukrainian's future is once again up in the air after his Falcons stint was cut short by the Europe RMR failure.

Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev took to Telegram to announce that he will not be continuing his stint with Falcons. "I'm not moving to Falcons," he simply said.

Upon being contacted by HLTV, the Ukrainian confirmed that there is no chance for him to stay beyond his loan period with the Saudi Arabian organization.

That was due to last until the end of the year, but his return has been cut short after Falcons failed to qualify for the Shanghai Major. They were eliminated from Europe RMR A with a 1-3 record on Tuesday after suffering losses to FaZe, SAW and GamerLegion.

Falcons ended up winning just one in eight matches with s1mple, an overtime affair against ECLOT in the Major qualifier opener. Their struggles, however, pre-dated s1mple's arrival, as they had racked up a 1-11 score in matches in their final weeks with Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García.

The run of poor form has caused many to call for the team's overhaul, and Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen has made it no secret that he had informed his players more changes could be coming. "Some of the players know that they're here to be the first step of this vision, while some will stay longer," he said to HLTV in late October. "A lot of the players know the next year might be different."

Falcons, however, remain silent on their concrete plans. Upon inquiry from HLTV, a representative from the organization declined to comment on s1mple's future with Falcons or the team's as a whole.

For now, the only certainties seem to be Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif's place on the team in 2025 as well as the impending reported arrival of Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač, which was all but confirmed by G2's CEO, Alban Dechelotte, late last month.

Its the fault of Falcons, not the Fault of s1mple. I think its more likely S1mple declines to join them, than it is they declined him. Could also be, that it was always intended as a loan. Either way, Falcons is in a fucking depressing state and I don't understand how they rank be ranked #26 in the world when they are literally losing EVERY SINGLE GAME. They need to revamp the roster. Keep Magisk and bring in 4 new players. Magisk is the only player that have been CONSISTENTLY delivering.

He's actually not too out of shape. I think his stats currently don't reflect his capabilities, he's actually the highest rated player on Falcons despite his anchor roles, but yes I agree

I highly doubt s1mple would decline joining Falcons when he knows they'll make more changes like adding NiKo to the team. It would also make no sense for him to decline Falcons because he must know that his buyout is so massive that it's really unlikely any other team can afford him either. I'd say that either Falcons knows they're getting some great AWPer (like m0NESY) so it makes sense to not continue with s1mple knowing his cost, or the players and zonic have said they don't want to play with him due to him being a difficult teammate.

The first step should be -zonic. He had a core of 3 that did decently in ENCE which should be a good starting point. Then Magisk and then two debatable choices with boros and dupreeh, which, in a way, I guess they had zonic input on them (especially dupreeh). He had a year to make it work and failed miserably. It's time for someone else to be given a chance and build a team that he deems optimal.

They can't do that, they threw so much money in zonic and it would be a waste to kick him, it's not like there are any other better coaches available. I don't wanna defend zonic but until now he was promised any player he would like and he got only the third hand of the players, no one in this line up was meant to be here besides Magisk. in the fallen scenario he play in a region where there's no good awps so it's not a hard decision for orgs to pick him up. it's not like furia turned down a handful of talented awpers to roll with fallen. he's also the IGL which adds value as well. s1mple is not an IGL so if he's a 1.10-18 rating awper from now on, well there's a bunch of them in EU. it's very telling that NAVI would rather roll with w0nderful. we haven't even brought up the toxic factor yet. s1mple is going to have to go to a fringe tier 1 team like complexity or big imo, only in that situation does it make sense for all parties.

The cs era changed a lot, new talents coming up and to be honest, really hard to deliver good ratings and results while your teammates ar some goofy **s player amd your in-game leader's whole career achievement is one fluke(?) trophy, where he also get carried by good teammates with decent chemistry. If he can't build a team with 4/5-time major champions he knows for years and some T1 capable players then he just isn't the "goat coach" ... it is actually B1ad3, because he managed to become a dominant force with two completely different teams and comms languages in those, by both winning a major.
