- 16-team Swiss play with five rounds.

- Opening, 1-0, 0-1, and 1-1 matches are BO1; the rest is BO3.

Things to note

- This game will give away the normal amount of season points. Increased season points will come with the Elimination and Playoff stages.

- Compared to the RMRs, there are no deciders in the Major’s Opening Stage; therefore, there will be a smaller effect from padding earned by teams advancing early: two rounds worth of padding for 3-0 teams and one round for 3-1 teams.

Player prices

- The price of The MongolZ's Azbayar "⁠Senzu⁠" Munkhbold was brought down from $228K to $220K in order to make him more affordable in the context of the event.

- With Rare Atom undeniably being the main underdog, all of their players are available for less than $180K, with YuLun "⁠Summer⁠" Cai going for as low as $169K.
