ewjerkz has departed SAW after two and a half years

SAW have announced the departure of Michel "⁠ewjerkz⁠" Pinto to bring an end to a partnership dating back to July 2022.

The 24-year-old was benched at the start of December, with the organization's statement saying the rifler wanted "to explore new opportunities on the international stage" before José "⁠Shr⁠" Gil took his place on the active roster.

The Portuguese star is expected to get his international move and sign for Ninjas in Pyjamas, who are about to revamp their roster with four new players, according to an earlier report by HLTV.

The move to the Swedish organization is set to give ewjerkz the chance to reunite with long-time SAW teammate Rafael "⁠arrozdoce⁠" Wing, who seems set to join the 24-year-old in their first international venture.

ewjerkz averaged a 1.13 rating across 2024 as SAW qualified for their first Major, PGL Major Copenhagen, and made a surprise run to the IEM Cologne semi-final.

Is 3 years in portugal he showed everyone that he is a beast at tier 1 level (no jokes he even has the stats to prove and i saw every game). He was the best protguese player since 2022 and now he has the chance to prove that he is a beats in international i just hope he can make it because arrozdoce is consistence and will show it for sure.
