ECLOT place Blytz on transfer list

The Romanian player has been moved to the bench as the team is rebuilding for the 2025 season.

Just days after parting ways with kreaz, ECLOT are moving on from Blytz

ECLOT have placed Raul "⁠Blytz⁠" Gligor on the bench and put the player up for transfer, the Czech organization announced on Sunday. This is the second roster change undergone by the team this off-season following the departure of Rasmus "⁠kreaz⁠" Johansson last month.

Blytz has been on ECLOT's books since December 2023, when he joined the team alongside kreaz. He averaged a 1.13 rating during his time on ECLOT, helping the team win a number of regional LANs and online tournaments, including the European Pro League Season 15.

ECLOT part ways with kreaz

ECLOT's season reached its highest point in November, when they competed in the Europe RMR. They narrowly missed out on a spot at the Major, losing to fnatic in heartbreaking fashion in a 2-2 series where the decider map went to overtime.

"Blytz played a key role in our success last year and his individual qualities are undeniable, which makes this decision risky," ECLOT CEO Martin Novotný said in a statement-

"Nevertheless, we have decided to take advantage of the opportunities the market is currently offering and take the team in a new, hopefully successful direction. You can look forward to the announcement of two new players in just a few days."

Because they never played as good as under the leadership of kreaz and hardcarry of blytz. Probably ragekick after they didnt qualify for major, but honestly, what better options are there for them in the local scene? Sinners getting either styko or m1key and for them... Idk man, options are pretty shit

they will probably get majky from sinners and the Elive, but I doubt it was a "ragekick" since it was a surprise they even got to the RMR and actually stood any chance

I dont know for sure but at our domestic website they wrote it shouldnt be none of them. For some match that they already played it was Pepo their ex-Academy player but maybe that was just for the match. I dont really think they would get STYKO since they have IGL and they already did something like that with Zero when they brought him to team back from international lineups but it didt really work out because he didnt want to play anymore. But I would be happy for either m1ckey or STYKO :D

He should find team in no time, he was fairly impressive in ECLOT. Dunno what they wanna do, it seems like massive downgrade will be made.

at first styko has said that he isn't looking to be an IGL but when the year 24 was coming to an end, he realized he has the experience and knowledge to be an IGL so he is looking for it now (from what i remember at least, he said it in a video i think)

it's his best shot, meta is moving heavily towards good fragging teams on average and he was never really great in that regard anyway, so it is logical smart move (no surprise). On the other hand, what is worrying is fact that last time he tried IGLing the project failed miserably. So i would assume that any org that gives him a shot is basically gambling, which means lower salary, lower settings if moved on the bench etc. Maybe i am wrong, but he is yet to become IGL (if it's even possible for him), he is def not (a good one) as we speak. And ye, the won't be able to get m1key and styko IMO, but it would be decent addition, core as is right now is actually not bad for CZE standards. Probably better than sinners core (right now). I think they should get neofrag, tell him here is your last chance, low salary, none if you are on the bench, show us what you got, then you can get bonuses. But he's already signed.
