Falcons confirm SunPayus departure amid HEROIC links
The Spanish AWPer is out of the Saudi organization after just one year.

Álvaro "SunPayus" García is on his way out of Falcons, the Saudi organization announced on Wednesday. The news comes amid reports that the Spanish AWPer is on the brink of joining HEROIC, who are reportedly fielding a completely new roster in 2025.
SunPayus signed with Falcons in December 2023, reuniting with his former ENCE teammates Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Pavle "Maden" Bošković.
The sixth-best player of 2023, the Spaniard struggled to reach the same heights under Falcons' banner, averaging a 1.08 rating until his benching in September. The team played the final stretch of the season with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev but failed in their efforts to qualify for the Shanghai Major with the Ukrainian superstar.

On HEROIC, SunPayus will once again play under Eetu "sAw" Saha, his former ENCE coach. Rounding out the roster will be Metizport star Linus "nilo" Bergman and the Sangal trio of Linus "LNZ" Holtäng, Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç and Simon "yxngstxr" Boije.
