EliGE departs Complexity after a year and a half with the American organization.

EliGE is headed for greener pastures after a disappointing 2024 with Complexity

Complexity have announced the departure of star rifler Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski. The announcement comes following rumors that EliGE is headed to FaZe to take the spot left behind by Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool's exit from the European side.

EliGE's year-and-a-half-long tenure with Complexity netted little in the way of results for the team. The North American side's most notable results with EliGE included a victory at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024, a runner-up finish at IEM Sydney 2023, and a semi-final placing at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Outside of these highlights, Johnny "⁠JT⁠" Theodosiou's men struggled to find deep runs at top events throughout the latter half of 2023 and much of 2024, culminating in an Opening Stage exit from the Perfect World Shanghai Major to wrap up the year.

EliGE continued to excel individually despite Complexity's woes in 2024, securing an EVP award at ESL Pro League Season 19 and snagging 19th place on the Top 20 players of 2024 list. All told, EliGE concludes his time with Complexity with a 1.20 average rating across 227 maps played.

As Complexity recently parted ways with Ricky "⁠floppy⁠" Kemery, the team is now down to just three active players. A recent report from Dust2.us suggests that the American organization will be looking to domestic talents Danny "⁠Cxzi⁠" Strzelczyk and Nick "⁠nicx⁠" Lee to fill the gaps in their lineup.

Seriously ash, sAw, and Jerry are probably some of the craziest roster builders that have played in CS in a long while. Jerry may have PARIVISION as a mark on his record, but getting forZe to majors despite having to play with a different lineup in some, usually significant capacity is worth respect in my book, and sAw and ash are doing this shit on hardcore mode due to losing their IGLs.

You are basically saying that all IGLs are bad. Karrigan led his team to Katowice final and Major finals twice. It requires some solid captaincy and good calling. Despite his age he managed to beat many strong teams like Vitality and G2. What more do you want from your leader? Also, other FaZe players were struggling individually this year which makes leading even harder.

they did name apex igl of the year...... when he got carried by zywoo. just -zywoo as a single player, and apex will be back to the same tier he was at before zywoo joined the team. remember alex who led the team? after alex left, what became of him? so is apex a great igl just because they won many events that year? was alex a great igl? great igl's: biguzera ; blitz sure they didnt win much, but they rose from nothingness. and you can clearly see igl-ship is smart. karrigan's useless. he only begs management for expensive players. who are the most expensive players in the game? igl? or zywoo / simple (washed for now) / donk? are stars more expensive or igl? so yes, i view karrigan is no more than an annoying kid. siuhy and kyxsan also had relative success without having tier1 superstars. and these players are being seen more and more as superstars now. so i'd give some credit to these igls. not karrigan sort, not apex sort.
