All the winners of the HLTV Awards

Take a look back at who was honored for their stellar performances in 2024.

donk took home trophies in four individual categories

The fourth edition of the HLTV Awards saw seventeen awards handed out across three separate categories, including Community Awards voted on by fans, Panel Awards decided by a group of pros, talent, and HLTV staff, as well as individual awards like the coveted Player of the Year award.

Below is a video featuring all of the winning moments of the night, followed by a list of all the awards up for grabs and the nominees that were vying for them.


Player of the Year

Russia Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets

Other nominees:

Russia Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov - Second place
France Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut - Third place

donk laid claim to the title of Player of the Year after a mind-boggling performance in his debut year competing in tier-one. The young rifler helped Spirit secure four trophies, including at IEM Katowice and Perfect World Shanghai Major while collecting five MVPs for himself in the process.

The young donk beat out AWPers m0NESY and ZywOo, who likewise displayed impressive form throughout 2024.

Women's Player of the Year

Romania Ana "⁠ANa⁠" Dumbravă

Other nominees:

Lebanon Zainab "⁠zAAz⁠" Turkie - Second place
Russia Victoria "⁠tory⁠" Kazieva - Third place

ANa scooped up her third-consecutive Women's Player of the Year award after yet another phenomenal year from the Romanian AWPer, who averaged a 1.25 rating across all of 2024.

ANa's win came at the expense of teammates zAAz and tory, who were likewise nominated after a stellar year for Imperial Valkyries.

Team of the Year

Europe Natus Vincere

Other nominees:

Europe G2 - Second place
Russia Spirit - Third place

Natus Vincere laid claim to the title of Team of the Year after locking down a number of big titles throughout 2024, including at PGL Major Copenhagen in the earlier part of the year.

To secure this honor, NAVI came out ahead of fellow nominees G2 and Spirit, who likewise bagged notable trophies across the last year.

Women's Team of the Year

Europe Imperial Valkyries

Other nominees:

Ukraine NAVI Javelins - Second place
Brazil FURIA fe - Third place

Fueled by stellar individual showings from all five of their players, Imperial Valkyries locked down the honor of Women's Team of the Year, the third time in a row for this core after previously achieving this feat under the banner of Nigma Galaxy.

Rookie of the Year

Russia Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets

Guatemala Mario "⁠malbsMd⁠" Samayoa - Second place
Ukraine Myroslav "⁠zont1x⁠" Plakhotia - Third place

donk's next individual award was Rookie of the Year, one that he snagged ahead of teammate zont1x and new G2 addition malbsMd after his jaw-dropping performances in his debut year in tier one.

Opener of the Year

Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač - Second place
United States Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski - Third place

donk's next award was for Opener of the Year, a role that he dutifully filled throughout the year for Spirit, beating out Bosnian superstar NiKo and American rifler EliGE for the honor.

Closer of the Year

Lithuania Justinas "⁠jL⁠" Lekavicius

Other nominees:

Ukraine Valeriy "⁠b1t⁠" Vakhovskiy - Second place
Finland Jimi "⁠Jimpphat⁠" Salo - Third place

The PGL Major Copenhagen MVP jL laid claim to the title of Closer of the Year, moving past teammate b1t and young MOUZ star Jimpphat.

Anchor of the Year

Ukraine Valeriy "⁠b1t⁠" Vakhovskiy

Other nominees:

Finland Jimi "⁠Jimpphat⁠" Salo - Second place
Ukraine Myroslav "⁠zont1x⁠" Plakhotia - Third place

Although his teammate jL bested him in the Closer of the Year category, b1t still came out with a win as the Anchor of the Year. The Ukrainian rifler won the award ahead of Jimpphat and countryman zont1x.

AWPer of the Year

Russia Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov

Other nominees:

France Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut - Second place
Russia Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov - Third place

The sole win of the night from a G2 representative came in the form of m0NESY laying claim to the title of AWPer of the year, clearing fellow superstar snipers ZywOo and sh1ro for the title.

IGL of the Year

Finland Aleksi "⁠Aleksib⁠" Virolainen

Other nominees:

Russia Leonid "⁠chopper⁠" Vishnyakov - Second place
Denmark Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen - Third place

Natus Vincere's captain Aleksib got his flowers at the HLTV Awards, earning the honor of IGL of the Year ahead of skippers chopper and karrigan after helping lead his team to victory in several events throughout 2024.

Coach of the Year

Ukraine Andrey "⁠B1ad3⁠" Gorodenskiy

Russia Sergey "⁠hally⁠" Shavaev - Second place
Denmark Dennis "⁠sycrone⁠" Nielsen - Third place

Rounding out the Panel Awards' Team of the Year is B1ad3, who snagged the Coach of the Year award after beating out fellow nominees hally and sycrone from Spirit and MOUZ, respectively.

BanKs earned the honor of Talent of the Year for his interview work, moving past Scrawny and last year's winner, SPUNJ.

Event of the Year

China Perfect World Shanghai Major

2024's final event of the year, Perfect World Shanghai Major, was deemed the Event of the Year, beating out PGL Major Copenhagen and IEM Katowice in the community vote for the title.

ohnePixel secured the title of Streamer of the Year for the second year in a row despite a brief break from streaming, beating out American streamer fl0m and Lithuanian streamer dima_wallhacks.

NadeKing earned the honor of being 2024's Creator of the Year, securing the title ahead of 2023's winner 3kliksphilip and Swedish YouTuber Virre.

Oh that's not what I mean. I mean top1 will get two marks on their hltv profile for the totally same thing. Maybe those top1 before 2021 isn't treated fairly.Anyway,the two awards are totally the same yet to be marked as two as if someone isn't top1 can get it as well and it seems not to be possible.
