PARIVISION announce revamped lineup featuring Jame

Jame found a new home in PARIVISION

PARIVISION have refreshed their roster for 2025, which features the additions of Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali, Aleksandr "⁠TRAVIS⁠" Timkiv, and Emil "⁠nota⁠" Moskvitin.

The move brings Aleksei "⁠Qikert⁠" Golubev, Jame, and Dastan "⁠dastan⁠" Akbayev back together after their long-standing partnership was interrupted by Qikert's benching in 2023. This trio's journey began back in 2017, when they played for AVANGAR and eventually reached the final of StarLadder Major Berlin 2019.

Qikert and Andrey "⁠BELCHONOKK⁠" Yasinskiy are the only remaining members of the previous roster, with the Kazakh rifler notably keeping hold of the in-game-leader role despite Jame's addition.

The Russian AWPer joins the team after he was benched by Virtus.pro in December. The two-time Top 20 player of the year averaged a 1.03 rating across 2024 as the team was unable to find their footing with Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov.

The other two new additions are nota and TRAVIS, who sign from AMKAL after the Russian organization benched its entire roster at the start of the year.

The new-look PARIVISION squad will debut in YaLLa Compass Winter 2025 Contenders on January 16 against Metizport. The team will most likely play without their full new lineup, however, as their new roster composition voids the invitation given to their previous three-man core.

Artfrost hasn’t played a top 20 team since 2023 and has never played a major or legit LAN his entire career. Jame can hold his own against top 10 teams.

Well yeah exactly, apex is a mediocre IGL with great players around him and that is enough for Vitality to be top4. I expect exactly the same from VP, great players around a mediocre IGL and it will work just fine for some playoffs, maybe even some semis/finals appearance here and there, an for hovering around top10. Electronic's IGLing was mediocre af, but it could always get better. But the talent in new VP is undeniable, both Flamus and ICY are one of the hottest CIS prospects

Mediocre but experienced IGL. Zywoo hard carried, and his players had more experience and pretty much always only 1 inexperienced player at time. You also need stability and proper guidance for new player, which VP lacks.

Bad IGL and 2 inexperienced players. Yeah, they have more firepower than old VP, and should be better than PARI, but I wouldnt say them to be stable TOP10 team, more around TOP15.

yea and everyone expected era in c9...elec is not good igl and i dont see them being top10(we will see...not saying that its not possible)

Everyone who expected an era out of c9 was just delusional, because no team will ever "have an era" out of just putting a roster together, it always takes time so it was never certain to begin with But I expected c9 to be a top10 and they were exactly that, a top10 team. nah we dont agree at all here:)) even players themselves were talking about era, literally WHOLE scene(analysts and all those people included) were talking about era and lets look at lineup that they acutally had: two of the best riflers in ax1le and elec, one of the best awper and one of the best if not best support+hobbit who was pretty decent i would say(not rly good was was able to hold his own more or less). on top of that your comparsion with vitality doesnt make any sense whatsoever either. vitality last year had top3, 7 and 13 player(+mezii was actually stepping up as well) and they won only 1 tournament. there are a lot of people that dont have them even as top5 team of the year in 2024(i think its stupid, they are top5 at very least). what vp have if we look at players individual performance last year on lan(not even big events, just lans) fl1t 1.05(0.96 vs top5, 0.99 vs top10, 1.0 vs top20) fame 1.01(0.87 vs top5, 0.94 vs top10, 0.98 vs top20) fl4mus 1.08(0.93 vs top5, 0.94 vs top10, 0.85 vs top20) elec(without igl role) 1.05(1.06 vs top5, 1.05 vs top10, 1.03 vs top20) the only player that was able to play well was icy with 1.13(0 maps vs top5, 1.10 vs top10 and 1.12 vs top20) dont even try to compare this on paper with what c9 had(and failed miserably) or with what vitality has. as i said its not impossible for them to be top10 this year. i dont want to bash those players. i dont think that they are bad or anything like that but top10? nah i dont see that but time will tell

This is a good move for Jame. Focusing on AWPing he can farm some rating vs tier 2 and will make himself more valuable to IGL tier 1 teams either later this year or next year.
