Calyx, danistzz headline new Sangal roster

The Turkish organization has crafted a new lineup after selling its core to HEROIC.

Sangal has announced the signing of a new roster headlined by former Eternal Fire rifler Buğra "⁠Calyx⁠" Arkın and BetBoom member Danil "⁠danistzz⁠" Roslyakov, who spent much of 2024 AWPing for Space.

The lineup is rounded out by Bartosz "⁠bnox⁠" Niebisz, who will take up anchor roles, and former ECLOT duo Raul "⁠Blytz⁠" Gligor and Rasmus "⁠kreaz⁠" Johansson, the latter as the team's in-game leader.

The signings mark a new chapter for Sangal after it sold its core of Simon "⁠yxngstxr⁠" Boije, Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç, and Linus "⁠LNZ⁠" Holtäng to HEROIC, parted ways with Dawid "⁠SaMey⁠" Stańczak, and Samet "⁠jottAAA⁠" Köklü returned to Eternal Fire during the tournament break.

HEROIC reveal new roster

The team will not have a rank on the VRS and will begin the season playing in open qualifiers to build up points and experience, with the aim to return to tier-two by the second half of 2025.

"Building a team from the ground up is always challenging, especially getting all the pieces to click," Jimmy "⁠Jumpy⁠" Berndtsson states in Sangal's announcement.

"But I truly believe we’ve created something really good with this new lineup, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together for 2025."

I actually quite like this team, danistzz has impressed on AWP and I think blytz + bnox are underrated players. don't know about kreaz IGLing nor how calyx's performance will be, but either way should be a solid t2 squad with potential to improve with some moves in the future

If yall think those players are mid then u dont watch CS. Players rise in their career at some point u know, like iM, like every other GL, Apeks, OG, Endpoint breakout players.
