Nouns to go unsalaried after funding proposal fails
After two funding proposals were defeated, the majority of Nouns are set to continue competing together without the organization's financial support.

Nouns is set to stop funding their CS team after a proposal to fund the team through to BLAST.tv Austin Major was defeated.
Eric "adreN" Hoag told HLTV that the team intends to stick together with the exception of Gage "Infinite" Green, due to personal hardship that made him unable to commit to competing.
The team are set to participate in IEM Dallas and BLAST Rising qualifiers this week with a stand-in. They sought an emergency substitute for ESL Challenger League 49, but were denied their request. HLTV has reached out to ESL for comment as to why the sub was denied.
Nouns is a "decentralized autonomous organization," meaning its members, who purchase membership through "unique digital art pieces," vote on proposals to fund teams.
A proposal to fund Nouns and Nouns fe through 2025 had already been defeated, and so a second proposal was put forth to fund the men's team through to the Major in Austin. This second proposal was also defeated.
Nouns first entered CS in late 2022, and had since become a fixture of the NA scene, peaking at 33rd place in the HLTV world ranking late in 2023. The organization made it to four RMRs in their time in CS, but never qualified for a Major.
The roster who will continue to compete together are:
William "RUSH" Wierzba
Paytyn "junior" Johnson
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell
Eric "adreN" Hoag (coach)
