Astralis qualify for BLAST Open Lisbon
The Danes survived a brutal European qualifier with device and jabbi leading the way.

Astralis have qualified for BLAST Open Lisbon after securing victory in the RES Showdown online qualifier.
The Danes had to battle through 9INE, 500, and the in-form PARIVISION to secure the sole European invite to the 16-team $400,000 event.

Fellow favorites GamerLegion and HEROIC fell to Dzhami "Jame" Ali and Aleksei "Qikert" Golubev's PARIVISION —- who debuted with a win at the unranked CCT 16 — but Astralis took over the grand final in the final half of a tense Ancient decider.
Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard led the way with 1.27 and 1.25 event ratings and ended on top of the board on that decider to push top seeds Astralis over the finish line.
Qualifiers for Asia, South America, and North America are ongoing to decide the final three spots.
