Lynn Vision qualify for IEM Dallas

Lynn Vision topped the Asian closed qualifier after coming back through the lower bracket.

Lynn Vision have secured a spot at IEM Dallas after coming out on top of the Asia closed qualifier on Wednesday.

The Chinese side got off to a bad start in the qualifier with a loss to The Huns, but came back through the lower bracket with three consecutive wins against TYLOO, The Huns in a rematch, and ATOX in the grand final.

The Dallas event will take place from May 19-25 and there, Lynn Vision will join eight sides invited through Valve Regional Standings, including the likes of Vitality, G2 and FaZe, and seven other qualified teams.

The European qualifier already saw four teams secure their spot, and only one more is up for grabs in a match between HEROIC and Astralis, scheduled for February 20.

The North and South American qualifiers will come to a close later today, with NRG, Nouns and BOSS in play in the former and Legacy, Fluxo and Sharks in the latter.

LVG played 3 BO3s today in 2 different qualifiers, won all 3 games, and tomorrow they have 2 more to play. if they qualify for both Tier 1 events, they could easily go into 3rd or even 2nd place on VRS Asia

JamYoung single-handedly destroyed the best Chinese roster we'll get in the next few years, they were pretty dominant in their region and just had to wait a few months to start playing in the European lans, but he decided to try valorant, failed and Starry couldn't play with 30 year old Auman anymore and left, and now Jamyoung is back, but they don't have Starry and have to play with Auman or an attacker, so for them it's gg, I hope rare atom will trade domebody for someone from tyloo and we'll get a second good Chinese team

Congrats to LVG, as this gives them a huge chance to boost the VRS points ahead of the major. Remember, there are not many tournaments for Asia teams to gain VRS points apart from tier 1 tournament qualifiers(In which TYLOO lost 3 bo3s in one day to RA, LVG, and ATOX, hurting them by 40 points, dropped to 7th in Asia ranking) And remember, this will determine whether the teams could get invited to the Regional Qualifiers, which will be held in April, and I guess that the place will be called a month prior(at least) Therefore, TYLOO and LVG have EPL to gain points, while RA needs to fight Blast Rasing to get enough points ahead of the deadline.
