ATOX qualify for BLAST Open Lisbon

ATOX have secured a spot at BLAST Open Lisbon, a top-tier event featuring the world's best teams. It will be their second event of such stature after qualifying for ESL Pro League Season 20 in 2024.

The BLAST event will take place from March 19-30, with the group stage playing out at the BLAST Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the playoffs then moving to the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

ATOX beat countrymen The Huns 2-0 in the qualifier's grand final, a team they had also beaten in the IEM Dallas qualifier just two days prior, to secure their spot at the BLAST event. Before the grand final, they had also beaten Rare Atom and Rooster.

The Mongolian team had been on a hot streak of late, as they had a 7-0 record before losing to Lynn Vision in the last round of regulation in the IEM Dallas qualifier grand final's decider map on Wednesday.

ATOX join Astralis and Imperial as the teams that made it through the regional qualifiers in Asia, Europe, and South America, with North America now the final qualifier that will settle the 16-team roster when it comes to an end on Friday, February 14.
