M80 complete BLAST Open Lisbon team list

reck's return to the server after a broken leg ends in a ticket to BLAST's studios.

M80 have secured the 12th and final group stage slot for BLAST Open via the North American qualifiers.

The team began with a closed qualifier run before beating all three of the highest-ranked teams in the main ACE Masters event 2-0 to confirm their spot.

As a team outside of the top 24 in Valve's Global Standings, the qualifier gave M80 a chance to qualify for their first tier one LAN of 2025 and it will be a relief to the team that they succeeded.

M80's year began with news that Ethan "⁠reck⁠" Serrano had broken his leg, forcing the team to use Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne as a stand-in at BLAST Bounty and the unranked ICE Invitational LAN.

Back at full strength, reck was a key part of the team's smooth run with a 1.14 rating, although Mason "⁠Lake⁠" Sanderson led the way on a 1.40 across both qualifiers.

M80 will now join the top eight teams in the world — who all accepted invites — alongside fellow regional qualifier hopefuls Imperial, ATOX, and Astralis at the group stage in Copenhagen before the top six teams fly to Lisbon for playoffs.
