NAVI best FURIA 2-0 in BLAST Lisbon

After scrapping to victory on Anubis, NAVI closed the deal with relative ease on Mirage.

Natus Vincere have opened their account at BLAST Lisbon with a 2-0 victory, battling through overtime to win Anubis 16-12 before comfortably sealing the series with a 13-8 win on Mirage.

Natus Vincere seemed to be in control of Anubis after a well-oiled T side produced eight rounds, but FURIA battled back in a scrappy second half to force OT.

The Brazilian's offensive success was predicated more on succeeding through chaos than anything structured, however, and that success disappeared in OT, allowing Natus Vincere to close the map with ease.

On Natus Vincere's home map of Mirage, things were more straightforward. Natus Vincere battered FURIA's poor CT side, even if Kaike "⁠KSCERATO⁠" Cerato solo-carried a few rounds, and got the job done on their own defensive effort, despite more KSCERATO heroics.

Natus Vincere have earned themselves a bout with The MongolZ thanks to their efforts, and an early chance to avenge their EPL playoff defeat, whilst FURIA will face off against M80 in the lower bracket.

FURIA's CT woes continue

FURIA have a decent T side in them, but their issues on defensive halves are simply too serious to ignore. The Brazilians now sport a 43.6% win rate on CT side across LAN in 2025, a number that is simply not sustainable if you want to win games and go deep in tournaments.

There have been some adjustments in recent times, KSCERATO being moved to Catwalk on Mirage, for example, but it doesn't feel like small positional changes are going to be enough for FURIA to improve their fortunes.

Rating 2.1 exposed lmao. Both teams have 156-156 KD combined, NaVi wins maps 2-0 and rounds 29-20, but somehow FURIA still has better ratings.

Literally not lmao. Furia has only 2 negative K/D players, and much higher ADR on top3 of their scoreboard.

just literally means na'vi played better team cs. they might have worse individual player stats but their players had greater impact. the damage and kills they made lead to more round wins.

I'm at a point where I don't watch FURIA games because I can predict the scorelines pretty well, sometimes to the point of knowing the score difference. I hate betting, so screw that. It just says a lot about Furia's shape and what the squad can achieve knowing that ALWAYS there will be one player in the server who is tuned out and it will be a 5 vs. 4. No use pointing fingers, because who that player is varies. The consistent part is the 5 vs. 4.
