The Australian moves aside in anticipation of Liquid's addition of siuhy.

Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage has been moved off of Liquid's starting roster, the organization announced on Friday.

The Australian moves aside to make space for Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek, who is set to join Liquid as its new in-game leader, HLTV reported last week.

jks leaves the starting roster after having joined the team in July 2024 as part of a larger overhaul, which also saw Roland "⁠ultimate⁠" Tomkowiak and Torbjørn "⁠mithR⁠" Nyborg join and Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken become the team's new in-game leader.

In the new setup, Liquid made it to the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 20 and the Perfect World Shanghai Major but otherwise fell short of their goal to become a title contender, even after bringing in a big signing in Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz at the turn of the year.

jks averaged a 0.99 rating in that time, just shy of a 1.01 rating a player in the combination of his supportive positions is expected to hit.

Nine months later, the organization is undergoing another big change, parting ways with the Danish coach and reversing Twistzz's role switch with the addition of siuhy.

You can't have 6 players, just cos Twistz can't IGL doesn't make jks not part of the problem. Problem is they lack an IGL, and you can't have 6 players. To resolve that problem they need to get rid of JKS. Also his impact was lackluster and a problem.

It's actually really sad that Justin is being kicked for the second time in a row, literally undeservedly. This player showed great results with G2, but they decided to make him the scapegoat for their problems and removed him. And then they lost any victories at super-elite tournaments. And then they swapped him for Nexa. I think this transfer was the most disastrous in history. Then Justin was removed from Liquid, although it's obvious that the problem wasn't in his game. Liquid's problem was in the role conflict between Nertz, Naf and Justin. And that Twistz is not Karrigan. Of course, Liquid now has a fighting roster, but in my opinion it would have been better if today we saw the news that Naf was benched, and not Justin. I wish Siuhy good luck in her new team. I think he's one of the best captains at the moment. And I wish Justin even more luck in finally finding a team that will appreciate you. Justin, just don't go back to Australia.
